The 'anyone?' meme has officially run it's course. The first three to five were funny, but now you are simultaneously beating the proverbial dead horse AND jumping the shark like Fonzie. If you are the 17th person to jump on board something, whether it be 'anyone?' or 'I hate player X!' you aren't contributing: you're parroting to gain acceptance. Man, some of those ABA teams sound like Bizarro world NBA teams. Denver Rockets, New York Nets, Jersey Shore Bullets, Houston Mavericks, and the ever popular Pittsburgh Condors.
Standard offseason. Any trend could turn into a wildfire around here because, let's face it, there is nothing left to talk about. Hard to believe after a championship year, but really...the roster is set, the big moves have been made, and all there is between now and late October is FIBA, media day, and training camp.
In retrospect, last year may have been my most cleansing offseason as a Spurs fan. After 6, I had a hard time looking at anything Spurs related for quite a while...SpursTalk included. I had to walk away for a bit. Thinking about basketball pissed me off, and that's not why we watch it as a recreation. As a result, the offseason flew by.
Once the season started, I was back with more hope then ever, and it paid off.
There was never a shark to jump over, imo.
Anyone but Jeff Ayres. He sucks.

Actually this is quite good and fits the unintended challenge.
