Oh I did, I did. I even began my explanation by acknowledging it and then using his definition.

But in the context he was using it to reply to Avante, it was incorrect, because he used "Christian dogma", and not "dogma" by itself.

Had he just used the word dogma in that context he would have been partially right.

After giving the proper definition of "Christian dogma", and how it differed from the mere word, he got all pissy and upset about it.

I even showed him how what he should have used in order to be perfectly correct was "doctrine", and the difference between doctrine and dogma, this made him even more offended.

Hey, we all make mistakes, that is a given, but sometimes we need a good dose of humility, otherwise we set ourselves up for humiliation.

Believe me, I know, I have humiliated myself lots of times and many times on here, but we have to step back and admit it, if not to anyone else, then at least to ourselves.
