Just sad all around. I just hate poor logic. Even if I don't agree with you, if you are logical in your approach I am ok with it. This Mom says she knew her son was gay from a very early age (implying before the child really understood sexuality) then says it's his choice.

If you knew he was gay before he could actually choose something, how then could it be his choice? Just sad and one of too many likely uneducated/broken households.

do you dispute the claim? why else would people ever "choose it" if they got ostrisized for it? in some countries they are executed. nobody would ever choose that or be forced to hide it otherwise. i've known kids (whether in high school or college) that were pretty clearly gay but never officially came out of the closet. why would you "choose" that only to hide it? it makes no sense. it's also not consistent with animals being gay. i doubt some penguins choose to be gay or can even make that decision.

not as far as they know. if it were purely genetic, it would have been an extinct trait, since gays are much less likely to reproduce, and thus pass down the supposed gay gene. the fact that we still have sexuality after centuries of oppression is a pretty telling sign that its not simply hereditary.

And if so, wouldn't it be advantageous for doctors to know this before or during delivery to know this so they can make sure you have the correct sex organs at the beginning?

Notice how all gays have issues with their mother and father, especially the father if they're males? Before sexuality was taken off the DSM as a pyschological disease, sexuality was known to be "a physchological personality disturbance". Was that means is that you were raised by ty ass parents that didn't teach how to be real man or a real women. They neglected you and therefore you subconsciously rejected your own true gender, causing you later to be sexually attracted to what you feel you lack within yourself. I believe that fully developed males and females(notice how they have no problem having kids the old fashioned way?) have deeply rooted physchological issues with themselves and their parents/sibling. In other words, they're scared of manhood(working and providing/protecting for females and children). Scared of the responsibilities of being a true man of God imho! The only people that get a pass for being true sexuals are intersex/hermaphrodites and people with genetic/chromosome disorders such as klinefelter syndrome. Everybody else has unmet mommy and daddy issues.
