The Repugs thereby extending the VN war for 7 years and for their own political power grab, adding 100Ks of US military injuries/deaths, and Ms of VN injuries/deaths that have continued to the present.

The truth has a liberal bias. The only reason other news organizations don't get on tv and clown Fox News and the dumbasses who watch it is that the other news businesses are also very impacted by right-wing corporations. They have more room to tell the truth than Fox does, but they still aren't completely free.
News organizations shouldn't be required to give the opinions of southern, uneducated, fatasses the same weight that they lend to folks with intellect, but they do because "uneducated fatasses claiming to be conservative without actually having their own informed opinions" is a pretty damned huge demographic and, at the end of the day, money comes first. Not to mention that going against corporate mandates means being fired.

Fact of the matter is that if you're claiming to be a "conservative" you're more than likely just parroting quasi-religious bull that you've never given much thought to because it's what your mom and dad taught you. No one with a brain in this day and age claims conservatism unless they are trying to play to that uneducated segment of the population.
If you're watching Fox News than any reason beyond intentionally hearing only what you want to be true, then you're completely lost.

I'm an atheist yet a fiscal conservative. Socially, I'm probably more liberal than you. I don't watch Fox and I'm far from alone..I also don't pretend that I'm the arbiter of education or knowledge.

Look man, the reality is that the majority of people calling themselves conservatives fit right in line with the "Them gits getting married" thing.
If you're a fiscal conservative and socially liberal AND atheist, then you're not a ing modern day conservative. You're a liberal that at least thinks he doesn't want to spend money on stupid . That makes you a very, very small part of the conservative base (not really what the Republican party aims for at all, honestly) and it makes you a part of a segment that I wasn't really talking about.
That said, I still can't buy that you're "socially liberal" or fiscally sound if you look at Fox News as a legitimate news source or go out of your way to defend it.
