Wonderful start, man Percy looked great. That's what we missed as far as that additional threat last year. Offensive Line is back intact, and aside from some special teams issues which can and will be cleaned up, I'm pleased. Defensive line didn't miss a beat despite some roster shuffling

I'm a Cowboys fan but Seahawks would be my mistress if I was unfaithful ...

they remind me of the Jimmy Johnson "canes or the triplet Cowboys ...

Classy QB with a bunch of talkers that can ball ...I am jealous, tbh.

I wouldn't use Harvin or Thomas on kick/punt returns. Really surprised we are seeing that?

Sure, when it comes playoff time, then Harvin can return ko's. Not now.

Well, they used Chancellor and Thomas on kickoffs last year. I don't like Thomas returning punts but if he is, he needs to know how to call a fair catch. I would much rather see Richardson or maybe Lockette back returning punts. Not the general of our defense or the Sherminator. Hopefully it'll stop...

Thomas is fine on punt returns imo. The problem last night was Sherman getting pushed into Thomas. Pete's approach to special teams is to put the best players out there. Personally I like that approach.

While I'm enticed with the idea of Richardson's speed on special teams, I'd rather just have a sure handed guy who'll make the right play and get a nice chunk of yards. Obviously having two of your best players doing double duty on special teams is alarming, this is nothing new. They've been using our best guys to out right pursue on special teams as well. And while on the surface I'm not happy with them returning kicks/punts, I rationalize it with Deion Sanders doing double duty

They could just as easily get hurt on a standard play so it, it is what it is. I can't sit here and be upset about it, but I'll hold my breath every time that's for damn sure.

He was reckless on the first punt return. He over pursued the ball IMO, he was clearly over anxious to make an impact. And while Sherman was there attempting a block on the second return (fumble), this is something that should've alerted Thomas to signal for a fair catch. The proximity was too close. Ball security is priority number one, not making a play. But he'll be fine, he'll make corrections.

It's not about is ability in that role, it's about his value as a safety. Do you really chance an injury there, to a key player?

Any player can get hurt anytime in football. Special teams is an important and yet underappreciated part of the game. It makes a huge difference when you win those battles.

So if Earl Thomas goes down, the best safety in the league. No big deal, next man up....Jeron Johnson, DeShawn Shead...I guess they are still on the team.

I think they should've rested him some more from the injury. I know he got it during preseason, but it should've taken a few more weeks to ensure he was back to normal. This will hurt if teams incorporate the Packers' style of targeting on Maxwell's side but I think they'll be alright.

It hurts even more because Tharold Simon is dinged up. This is a problem. Hopefully he comes back soon because we are becoming really thin at the DB position. DANG

This is untimely with Denver in week 3.
