I think Coughlin will be gone after this season. I'd be shocked if Eli is gone as well.
I didn't believe it after last season. The Giants were a year removed from returning champs. But after playing bad all last season, and looking the same today, the question now becomes a lot more interesting.
I think Coughlin will be gone after this season. I'd be shocked if Eli is gone as well.
Eli has never been very good but now he is terrible.
More reason to believe the ring count argument is the worst take in all of sports.
Nah. He was clutch then.
I hate Eli but he earned both those rings along with elite defensive lines
He got bombarded in the 2011 NFC le Game but kept stepping in
Oh yes...one...game told us that.
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
how about the entirety of last season, dummy
Eli beat Detroit...in...Detroit last season dummy! They went...7-3 the second half dummy.
18 TD's and 27 INT's for the season while only completing 57.5% of his passes
And Andrew Luck has a career completion % of 57.4.
You do know that most of Eli's INT's were in that first half of the season...right?
he threw 15 picks and 10 touchdowns in the first 8 games (2,167 yards) while throwing 12 picks and 7 touchdowns in the last 8 (1,651 yards)
his TD/INT ratio was actually higher in the first 8 games
I wasn't talking about ratio, he threw most his INT's in the first half as I said,
Why ignore the Andrew Luck comparision?
i wasn't disagreeing with you, just putting it all into context. he threw less INT's because he stopped throwing the ball, as evidenced by less touchdowns and yards. it goes to show that they weren't winning because he was playing better. he was awful when they were losing early in the year AND when they were winning games late in the year.
He always played behind dominant olines. Now its harder, and really he never put up that many points...
Don't be a rookie, ok? Give it some time, I'd think you'd know this. Think guy...ok?
What if he has a big game next week, what....he's back...hahahaha!!!!!!!!! Stop acting like a dumb kid over...one...week.
dont be a rookie? all i told you was he had a terrible year last year. you tried to bring up his fewer picks in the 2nd half of the season and i explained why those numbers were misleading. how is that being a rookie
In earlier posts you gave the impression that you were making a judgement based on.....one.....game.
Remember Timmy Smith in the SB, he looked like Jim Brown. What happened after that..."one"...game?
no, no. i never gave that impression. you just misunderstood and are dancing around the issue. he was god awful last year, and laid an egg tonight after a terrible preseason
Preseason....haha!!!
What kind of season did Rivers have in 2012? How about the following year?
Dude, give things some time...ok?
Then there's this sucky QB....
51.9 completion %
70.9 passer rating life time
212 tds
210 INTS
....what a failure. Terry Bradshaw 4 time SB winner/Hall of Famer.

comparing passing stats from the 70's NFL to todays? hahahahahahahahaha!
ur kinda slow, aren't ya fella
Only once in his career has Eli thrown more times than 572 which is what Fran Tarkenton had , yep...70's.
You........talking about people being slow.....hahaha!!!!!!!!!!
this list shows every 4,000 yard passing season in NFL history, and doesn't include the recent 2013 season which had 9 more.
taking last season into account, there have been 119 campaigns of 4,000 yards or more. 38 of them came before the year 2000. the other 81 have come since 2000. you go with the exception, i'll go with the rule
