His call of the Helmet Catch was a ing embarrassment, he made the greatest play in Super Bowl history sound like a routine play in week 4 of the preseason....
MNF that year had a number of crazy finishes.
That 2000 Rams-Bucs MNF game was one of the five or ten best regular-season games I've seen, imho.

2007: Cowboys overcome 6 Romo turnovers and Nick Folk kicks the game winning 53 yard field goal twice to win the game.

2008: Cowboys claw back and force OT on a 70 yard TD pass from Romo to Marion Barber... only to have their punt blocked in the end zone to end the game. First time a game had ever ended in that fashion, iirc. Crazy always happens when Dallas plays in Arizona tbh.
1993: Thanksgiving... snow... Dallas.... "It's Leon Lett.... NOOOO!"
2010: Giants lead the Eagles 31-10 with 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Vick brings the Eagles back to tie the game with a little over a minute left in the game. They then force the Giants to punt, DeSean Jackson muffs the punt, only to return it for a touchdown to win the game.
Don't forget him making the 2004 ALCS sound like a random spring training radio broadcast.
While no video, or even about a finish, but it was...crazy.
It was a Monday night game in Denver in the snow. Denver kick offs to...damn if I can remember....well the return guy fumbles, Denver scoop and score. 7 to 0. So Denver kick offs again, return man fumbles, Denver scoop and score. 14-0.
Gale Sayers has scored five tds vs the Niners, they have a big lead so they take Sayers out. Somebody gets to coach George Halas that Gale only needs one more score to tie an NFL record, so........they stick him back to return a punt, yep.....six TD's.
I cant believe this was 4 years ago. No one left on that team except literally 2-3 players. Thank goodness!
4 years ago? Man, it seems way more recent than that.
