So many easy layups for Serbia, at least 5 so far after 15 minutes. Tiago nothing special so far.

Brazil doesn't exploit its strengths at all it's pretty sad, not sure if it's the guards or the coach that suck more... Nene had some great plays on defense including the last possession of the half.

Lol Brazil. Very organized team - when down 21, let Barbosa play 1 on 1 for 20 seconds.

Brazil has has absolutely zero teamplay. They can't run a simple P&R, they go ISO most of the time (especially Barbosa), Huertas is having the worst tournament I've ever seen from him and Magnano has made some really questionable moves. I am disappointed but I don't think it's really a surprise. Serbia has a good team and they took out Greece for a reason.

Honestly, I think it's time for Magnano to go. The coach/team relationship is pretty much done.

Brazil should try to recruit Poppovic; No surprises here, their backcourt is , Splitter sucked today. Barbosa still on the team (and as one of the main players. Brazil, lol.

When Varajao leads the team in field goal attempts, that's never a good sign.

I just don't get why our most strong D line up (Neto, Alex, Marquinhos, Varejao, Splitter) wasn't played most of the minutes

too much experimentation with line-ups in crucial match, too much Larry and Giovanonni and WAY too much Huertas

Huertas made so many switches, he's terrified of screens ffs.. That led to like a handful of 3's in our face

Anyways, we suck at basketball and always will.. beating Argentina is enough

Beating Argentina should not be enough, but given the embarrassment of Brasil against Serbia my being ok with our loss to Brasil seems a little not cool.

Brazil doesn't deserve nothing better than this. Nene, Varejao, Splitter were criticized because they didn't accept to play some meaningless tournaments because of their contracts. In Brazil, no one wants to spend time developing players, most of the teams just want to win with a bunch of overpaid scrubs. Most of the players are relatives of former players like Splitter, Varejao, Raul Neto, Rafa Luz. If wasn't those Family 'heritage', the brazilian basketball would be in the curbs nowadays.

We develop athletes at social clubs for priviledged middle class kids

Imagine if the favela guys all had access to basketball courts and decent coaches?

Its pretty tough to win with unathletic middle class white dudes like Splitter and Huertas..

Poor guys like Nene got invited to social club by a coincidence.. the coach had to shelter him and give him free lessons, but that is 1 in a million case..

You have to be a hero to be an athlete (non football) in Brazil, we will always suck at sports.. I don't have any idea why we succeed at volleyball, maybe its because of all the TV coverage, but they are also middle class white guys, with one black here and there

possible but after beating Spain at home, France will be considered as favorite against Serbia especially since France already defeated once... typical scenario for France to lose

If France play the same defense they did against Spain then Serbia is toast, as long as they're able to stop the countless 3s they'll have a good chance. Put Batum/Gelabale on Bogdanovic/Teodosic, control the rebounds, which should be easily doable for France. Just don't put Heurtel on Teodosic please Good luck France.
