What has Manu to do with Spider-Man?
Still remember showing s this video back in 02 and telling them we had this dominant player stashed in Euroleague. Friends thought I was full of about how awesome he was until they saw this.
Cameo by Coach Messina at the 33 second mark
What has Manu to do with Spider-Man?
Don't you know the story son?
Didn't watch the vid, did you?
[there were videos on the web before YouTube.]
I muted the vid as I was listening to other song.
I remember a similar video around that time but it was to RHCP. Couldn't wait for him to get here after watching it.
Yeah, that one was amazing too. I think this is it, except the music has been changed and NBA footage was added in the last half of the video. I think the dunk at 4:41 was Manu's first NBA dunk.
Manu is easily the most entertaining player of all time for me...for a plethora of reasons....good and bad tbh![]()
I remember seeing that tip dunk at 1:35 mark of the first video and being so ing excited. I was only 15/16 and was so excited for the Spurs to get a "baller".
1:20 mark.
Wow, don't know why I have always thought that dunk on JRich was his first. But damn, I vaguely remember my boy Tod Tango from back in the Spursreport days having a bet with a Laker fan that Manu would get a dunk in that first game.
You know you're special when you get a Sporstcenter game highlight focusing on you on your rookie season when you scored just 9 pts.
That steal from behind on Kobe in the clutch...
awesome. can't believe it was so long ago. I remember what really blew my mind was the jump-recovery-blocked shot sequence that starts at the 0:38 mark.
No one else in the league can throw those passes through legs like Manu![]()
To have the pleasure of watching a player of Manu's caliber, in addition to Robinson, Duncan, Parker, and now Kawhi? We are such a blessed fan base.
Dat carry/travel at the 1:09 mark.
Would of been funny to see Pops face if Manu had done the spiderman during a spurs game
I told a buddy who's a huge Mavs fan that a Frenchman and an Argentinean were going to start in the Spurs' backcourt for the next 10 years and he laughed at me.
Thought this was a Charles Smith thread when I clicked on it, tbh.
LOL, I remember watching the 2001 NBA draft with a friend who was a Laker fan and I kept telling him how badly the Spurs wanted Parker and how I hoped like he'd slide to that last pick. Then when he saw Parker looking like a lost kid onstage and barely able to fit into his draft hat he thought I was nuts.![]()
