BREAKING: Texas Flips North Carolina Defensive Back Commitment
2 minutes ago
Horns247 has learned that the Texas Longhorns have flipped North Carolina defensive back commit Jamile Johnson of South Oak Cliff (Dallas, Tex.).
The 6-foot-1, 194-pound safety/cornerback originally committed to Oklahoma last February, before switching to the Tar Heels in mid-August. When the University of Texas offered today, however, the three-star prospect decided he wanted to stay closer to home and made a decision to become a Longhorn.
Johnson chose Texas overs North Carolina, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Louisville, Maryland, Texas Tech, Nebraska, TCU, Washington State and many more.
WTF happened here?
there's some great mormon jokes in there. particularly the one about magic underwear.
and of course the comment section is full of aggies...

Texas agrees to deal with Michigan for future home-and-home series:
Austin -- The University of Texas has reached an agreement in principle with the University of Michigan for a home-and-home football series in Ann Arbor on Aug. 31, 2024, and in Austin on Sept. 4, 2027, the school announced Wednesday. The agreement will be presented to The UT System Board of Regents for their consideration on Nov. 5-6, 2014.The match-up brings together two of the winningest programs in NCAA history with Michigan ranking first in all-time wins with 912, while Texas is third with 876.The lone previous meeting between the two schools came in the 2005 Rose Bowl following the 2004 season. The two storied programs created a classic as Texas prevailed, 38-37, on Dusty Mangum's 37-yard field goal as time expired. Vince Young accounted for 372 yards and five TDs, including 192 yards and four TDs on the ground, as the Longhorns won in their first BCS Bowl appearance to cap an 11-1 season.
24/7 saying they expect at least one offer, probably more, to go out today.
Red was thrilled with this.
Seeing he will be died in 10 years.
I put this on my calendar as well, the same one that has the date the sun expands out and engulfs the Earth.
Michigan replacing notre dame with ut should be fun
Coach Strong announced today that QB David Ash has given up football and DT Desmond Jackson is out for the year.
DT Desmond Jackson already saying it's his plan to return next year on a medical redshirt.
It's unreal how many injuries we have been getting hit with ever since Colt got hurt in the BCS le game.
The Ash decision was a no brainer. It was just going to happen again.
Pun intended...
Noooo....
You were a frat man?
I misunderstood that tweet at first too. He's trying to save west campus.
Yeah. I read further.
Thanks.
When I went to UT they actually had really good stuff going on.
Close to campus or on campus and it did keep things safer.
