There is no racism involved in it. Whites commit murder at a much lesser rate, that is why it is rarely mentioned by both the right and left wing media. The only side of the media that ignores a certain murder statistic is the left.

When is the last time the national media has done any reporting on what is happening in Chicago? I do not believe the media reports on black murders enough.
Blacks make up 13% of the population and manage to murder the same number of people white people murder. Whites make up 63% of the population. That is an alarming difference in murder rates, and no, the media does not report it as such for fear of being racist.
In your opinion, is race the primary factor in why backs commit murder at a higher rate than whites?

You don't think there are other aspects, such as socioeconomic aspects, that contribute to that? Or do you think it's just race?

Still, I do believe the correlation with race is largely irrelevant. Socioeconomic factors as EN mentions and a culture of violence are the driving factors IMO. Any discussion that that doesn't include the driving factors and focuses on the racial statistics is a waste of time and largely driven by racists.
I don't know about irrelevant... but certainly only one piece in a much more complex puzzle...
Of course there are other factors; education, job opportunities, single parent home etc.
Whites in poverty deal with the exact same factors, yet the violence is no where near what we see in the black community.
To deny it has anything to do with race is to deny culture has anything to do with race.

I don't know the bolded to be true. Ultimately, it might just mean whites are an outlier. Hispanics can be a pretty violent group too. That points towards a cultural issue, not specifically a race issue.
Race and culture are different things. That they might overlap at certain points doesn't mean that one is directly attributable to the other. I think the word you're looking for is tribalism.
Never heard 'single parent home' to be a factor, tbh, at least not race-wise. ie: American Indians have a much larger single parent home rate than whites or hispanics, but are generally much less violent.
Education is, IMO, the largest factor. Obviously, education itself is dependent on a lot of other factors, like socioeconomic status, culture, etc.
