Not really. You obviously don't understand scheduling and how it works. You know Texas just scheduled Michigan for year 2024 and 2026 right? You realize that is the norm when it comes to scheduling opponents? You don't just wake up one day and say "hey, you want to play next year". This isn't NCAA 2k14. Knowing what shape your opponent will be in 10+ years down the road is impossible. Michigan could be at the bottom of the big10 in year 2024 or they could be a natl le contender. Who knows. A&M had a yearly non-conf game with Arkansas but that obviously went away with the conference move. They had trouble finding opponents in a years time because most teams have their scheduled figured out for the foreseeable future.

Geez you sure are putting a lot of time into your obsession with all things SEC. I'm not going to start digging through big12 non-conf schedules but the big12 for obvious reasons needs to schedule tougher non-conf games because of their weak conference schedule. It's pretty simple to understand.

I know exactly how it works. Doesn't change the fact the SEC has gotten away for years with schedule cupcakes weeks into the season.

Why are people acting like cupcake OOC schedules are just an SEC thing? Baylor played SMU, Northwestern St and Buffalo OOC.

Why are people acting like all SEC teams avoid good teams OOC? Tennessee went to Oklahoma, Arkansas went to Texas Tech, Ole Miss played Boise St, South Carolina played East Carolina.
