To answer your question though it's impossible to tell since it's done years in advance dumb . But the SEC has played K-State, Oklahoma and East Carolina this year--all ranked.

That was off the top of my head. After looking it up...Bama opened up against WV. LSU vs Wisconsin. Georgia vs Clemson. Florida ends the regular season at Florida State. Kentucky ends at Louisville.

The SEC is the best Conf. imo but they are so over done on CBS it's comical.

Saban trying to get offenses to slow down because of injuries was comical after Oklahoma handed him his ass on a plate.
ATM brought a Big 12 style to the SEC and it has worked. Adjust or die.

Auburn, Florida, and Arky were running spread offenses before the new additions.

Ole Miss started their spread offense 3 years ago.

Miss St. brought a spread offense 5 years ago.

Spurrier has never run a conventional offense.
