Define Poor.
Do you agree with this statement? I definitely agree. If you're 35 and you haven't bumped up your state of life and have savings then you completely deserve to be poor.
Define Poor.
By in large yes. I think there are exceptions, such as people hamstrung by medical bills
Looked up what he actually said. I'd have to agree...
Jack Ma: People lose out in life because of these 4 reasons:
Being myopic to opportunity
Looking down on opportunities
Lacking understanding
Failing to act quickly enough

I defined it as not upping quality of life and having savings before 35.
Yes there are exceptions but ceteris paribus we are assuming that we are talking about a healthy person who has the capability to work.
Being rich or poor does not define a person. And if you believe it does then you've already lost at life.
Yes, do not let your riches define you. It's in every self-help book about finances and probably it's written in the Bible too. But if you stay poor in your lifetime don't you think you ed up royally? As ty as the world is now, there are still opportunities that will open up. This is America, the land of opportunity.
With that definition I would agree with the op. Although it's usually after age 35 when most people begin the wealth ac ulation phase of their life.
I do get annoyed with wealthy people giving their opinion on how everyone can be wealthy. The fact is every extremely wealthy person got that way through some degree of luck.
that just means u aren't rich
Or connections. You don't get wealthy in this world without connections. It's the stone cold truth. Without connections the most you can reach is the middle class.
Some wealthy people are s when it comes to giving advice about wealth but when you look closely at their pieces of advice they do make sense.
Money is everything.
Family still trumps money for me but for 98% of the time, yes, you are correct.
It solves everything. I know I work a job with wages but if I had self ing control, I could have a lot more money even from my job. All of the stupid that you buy adds up. I could pay my college loans off in probably 2 or 3 years if I went cold turkey on buying stupid .
Poor is a nothing but a mental state and at the young age of 35 you shouldn't be expected to have ac ulated a ton of wealth. I know people who make well over six figures that are poor. Sure, they have a nice home and nice cars but they are living pay check to pay check. Becoming wealthy is what you should strive for... and that doesn't mean making a million bucks. Once I understood that wealth simply means the amount of passive income you earn from your investments to support your lifestyle then I changed my entire thought process on making money. The Richest Man In Babylon and Rich Dad Poor Dad helped me understand this over a decade ago. I can never be poor again.
