I just saw on Facebook all the Laker fans were posting Kobe>MJ, see you guys he's worth the contract. Just because Phil said Kobe's work ethic was greater, gimme a break man.

Q: Is Kobe Bryant the model for Carmelo Anthony?
A: No. No one can approach that. I don’t expect anybody to be able to model their behavior after that, although Kobe modeled his behavior a lot about Michael Jordan, but he went beyond Michael in his at ude towards training, and I know Mike would probably question me saying that, but he did.

It's not a knock on him though. He could've went down the same path of Iverson, Vince Carter etc, but perhaps because of this dedication he's in discussion among some of the greatest players of not only his generation, but all time.

Kobe had one thing going for him: He landed in LA with Shaq on the horizon. After that and the success Shaq brought to the team, they were a magnet for talent. 2 years of sucking brought MVPau aboard and they were back on top.

In fact, weren't they doing relatively ok last year before Kobe "returned"?

    Phildos actual quote:
    "at ude towards training"
    Not "work ethic".

Kirby knows he has no where near the physical skills of Jordan so did train harder in an attempt to be a good role player and look good for his Best Supporting Actress awards. Jordan OTOH put in so much effort on the court and in the Bulls lively practice sessions that he did not have as much energy in the offseason.

Same for Fisher. I guess Fisher is better than Shaq.

See how stupid your takes are and how easily they are defeated? You think parroting them makes them somehow more stable?

I remember the lyrics. "Kobe, tell me how my ass taste". Even if he got 2, kobe will never forget the taste of shaq's ass. Can't shake it off, just like what amy did.
