You do realize that Presidents have historically not saluted, correct? This includes Dwight Eisenhower, who last I checked was a fairly decorated member of the service (4 Star General). Presidents saluting staff is a recent thing. I.e., not enough historical precedent to even worry about. Presidents are civilians, not military, thus a salute should not even be expected.

I don't think a President worries anymore about bombing terrorists than an average Joe worries about making ends meet. Maybe if he was doing a better job, he wouldn't get picked apart like he is. But this presidency has been a total failure.
