If you had to win a big game and had to choose between 1 of these 2 quarterbacks, who do you take, tbh?..

    Cam Newton or Vince Young?

    Pretty good comparison, tbh..

Both big 6'5 QBs that were chosen 1st in the draft(IIRC), both had great rookie seasons, both have been selected to the Pro Bowl, and they're both emotional/mentally unstable, tbh..

Newton has better numbers, while Young has a better track record for winning..

It's Young, easily. Young can win a game. He just can't have sustained success. All elite monkey-ballers are flashes in the pan, and Vince is the king of them.

He's the best game manager I've ever seen, as I've said before..

Some game managers(early Brady) eventually prove that they can be elite-level overall QBs, but most don't(Vince Young?)..it'll be interesting to see how Wilson's career pans out once he's asked to be more than a game manager..

    Weren't the ans a defense-first team, IIRC?..

Jeff Fisher was their coach, and he doesn't know any other style outside of defense-first, pound the ball, John Fox ball..

Don't think Young was smart enough to be a game-manager, honestly. He also ran and took stupid risks with the ball, which is pretty much the opposite of what game-managers are supposed to do.

You don't have to be a good game manager to be considered a game manager IMO..

IMO, if your team relies on defense and running the ball, and asks their QB to just make a few plays per game, then you're a game manager, regardless of whether it suits your style..

Cam Newton has much more talent than simply being a game manager(as he showed in year 1), but that's clearly what he was last year, for example..

Vince Young because he proved that he could win an NFL game in the clutch.

Young because on paper, he is supposed to die sooner.
