S Jamile Johnson of Dallas South Oak Cliff talks about his commitment to Texas (OrangeBloods):
"Texas has always been in the race. Ever since I started my recruitment, got in high school, Texas the place I always wanted to be," Johnson said. "It was my dream school. When I got that opportunity, I took it."
"Texas has so much history. It's only four hours down the road. And the history of DBs at Texas is insane," Johnson said.
"I just talked to my coaches when I got offered. Actually, Texas had been in contact and they were saying they were going to offer. Then it finally came through," Johnson said. "It surprised me at first. They told me they had always been interested in me. They also said they're hoping they can get me in for early enrollment, but they're looking for me to come in and make an immediate impact."
"I can bring versatility, physicality, speed, aggressiveness - bring a lot to the defense," Johnson said. "I actually still want to improve on my speed a little bit. I'm fast, but a bit of a long strider, so I want to shorten up my steps."
"It doesn't matter (which school tries to recruit me). It's a wrap," he said.
A new name to keep an eye on for 2016, RB Aubrey White of Wylie East:

Update on 2016 WR TJ Vasher of Wichita Falls Rider (24/7):
“I got invited to the game this weekend in Austin. I plan to be there,” Vasher said. “It’s going to be a good one. I’m just excited to go. I haven’t been to a game since my uncle (Nate Vasher) played.”
“I just have a natural bond with them,” he said. “I love the school.”
“That would be really nice, but the probability of that happening is very slim,” Vasher said laughing. “That is a lot of activity.”
“I think I like them evenly (basketball and football). It’s just whichever one gives me the best opportunity is the one I will take.”
Texas continues to push for WR JF Thomas of Dallas South Oak Cliff despite his commitment to TCU (24/7):
“They’ve been on me strong,” Thomas said. “That’s really who has been on me strongest.”
“They have some good players and coaches over there,” Thomas said.
“They (TCU) want me to stick with them and I’m going to stick with them,” Thomas said of TCU. “My mom wants me to stay with them.”
“Yeah for right now (I'm sticking with TCU),” Thomas said.
All unofficial visits require the prospect to pay their way, unless the unofficial visit is on a game day where only tickets are free. I believe each prospect is still given 4 tickets (including the prospect). Each school will have a certain location where recruits can pick up their identification and/or tickets, and then they'll head to a section designated for recruits and their families. A lot of them will be on the field or in the facilities before the game starts. Unofficial visits are unlimited to any campus, but you can't have in-person contact with anyone during a dead period. Let me know if I didn't answer your question.
According to 24/7, Texas has offered JUCO CB Justin Martin of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M:

Pretty much. Thank you!
Just to be completely sure: If a recruit wants free tickets and to be on the field he'll sit the other recruits. If he buy his own tickets and don't want to go down to the field, he can sit wherever he want?
If he buys a ticket on his own, he'll have to sit wherever that ticket is for.
Doubtful he gets on the field if he wasn't invited, unless he's some blue-chip recruit that shows up without anyone knowing.
LB Cameron Townsend has told 24/7 that he will be in Austin on Saturday.
Bobby Burton says that is hasn't gone as far as to him getting an official offer, yet. Apparently there is some issues with him that might make him a 2016 recruit instead of a 2015.
OrangeBloods another site now saying that RB Daje Johnson is expected to play Saturday.
The did say, however, that it isn't a sure thing that he'll be a major part of the game plan.
TE Chris Clark of Avon, CT has been offered by Texas.
Per Rivals, WR John Burt of Tallahassee, FL will be officially visiting Auburn this weekend.
Per 24/7, 2016 DE Erick Fowler of Manor will be at the Baylor game.

“Defending Baylor is like chasing rabbits,” defensive coordinator Vance Bedford said Wednesday.“I haven’t seen anybody that can stop Baylor,” Bedford said. “Baylor only stops itself. We’re a 14-point underdog, but I’ll give you 21 points. I don’t know if I can even show up for the game or wave the white flag. You’re talking about not eating and sleeping figuring out how to defend these guys.”
Hey spurstalk, I've been a longtime lurker on the forum and have decided to be more active in posting. I'm a member on 247, which is great for recruiting but has been bone dry with practice reports. I saw a recent post By IT saying there was some shakeup on the OL, anybody know what that shakeup was?
24/7 saying LB Jordan Hicks will be applying for a sixth year of eligibility.
