It was the very last play of the game with like 5 seconds left.
Wasn't able to go to the open scrimmage for the first time since 2010 when they started having the open scrimmages to the public, because I had a exam today. From the little I saw earlier it looks like Matt Bonner won the open practice MVP again. He always tears it up in these open practices, then the season comes around.![]()
Then the playoffs come around and the spurs need Bonner..
best dunk of the warm ups

He'll be cut tomorrow by pop.
If you heard a loud ass fan cheering a lot of go spurs go's, that was me. Bonner, Kawhi, and J Green gave me a lot to cheer about.
Is this posted online anywhere? I had to work.
is Kawhi's stunt double going to Toros?

How did Anderson look? Thanks!
why do they put the whole media day video on Spurs.com but not the open scrimmage video? perhaps they still upload it today ...
I would waive Error for him
there was this taiwan basketball drama
There was this coach that groomed triplets from young. But they registered only 1 player. So they would take turns playing and goes into the locker room to change during timeouts/half-time. Opponents though it was the same player, but they had different playing styles so they can never understand how he is going to play coz he was a different player.
After that, they registered all 3 players and had their numbers 33,38 and 39 (similar looking ones). A triplets running the floor and the defense always got confused.
You think pop watched that drama?
Sounds really good, I'm glad to read...He was training with two PGs (TJ Ford and DJ Gay) in San Diego, I expect to see some ball handling/ball control improvements this new season. And more of his post game, of course.
I saw that drama before. Hotshot (2008)
Yea the opponents (protagonists) was wondering why the player was good in the low-post and then after a timeout, he would changed his playing style and attack from the perimeter.
Report on Kyle Anderson, please.
Played mostly at the 2 and 3. Didn't make much of a mark on the game, but he also didn't have the ball in his hands much. Seemed a little tentative and unsure where to be in the spacing, but that's not surprising after only 4 days of practice. Didn't try to do too much; stayed within the offense and made some decent passes. Rebounded the ball well. Had a nice layup off of a slow-mo-eurostep. Jump shot is still deliberate and slow and needs work...has a high release which helps, but needs to get rid of the ball faster.
Kyle played fairly well in the flow of the game. He certainly has a knack for defensive rebounding. The unofficial stats showed he had 3 reb., but I'm fairly sure he had at least 4. His length was useful, deflecting a side-ob pass while defending the in-bounder. Kyle's shooting stroke needs some work, however, he did make a couple of his patented slow-motion, change-of-pace dribble drives. On the first one, he missed. On he second, he fooled everyone scoring in traffic, gaining separation just by the mere lack of speed in his final 2 steps. It was Globe-Trotterish. His defense (other than rebounding) was rather poor and unremarkable.
Oops, looks like Dex and I had similar observations. I agree, Dex.
