Nick Young underwent an MRI exam on Friday showing that the Los Angeles Lakers' guard has a complete tear of the radial collateral ligament.
Young suffered the injury in practice on Thursday.
Young will undergo surgery on his thumb on Monday, and an estimate for Young's return will be given at that time.
Young is expected to miss eight weeks, according to Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times.

Lin was decent under D'antoni. Lin needs to dominate the ball and he ain't doing that with Kirby.
