Based on what?
SEC fans laugh at this comment....
Based on what?
I do see where you're at there, and have thought the same thing about the SEC.
Have you turned on the television this year? Have you seen the SEC West? 6 teams ranked in the top 15...
So ing what? That is weak. Let's see the SEC play the Pac-12 and then we will see.
Have you watched television for the past 10 years? Seen any SEC games? Seen any National Championship games in that time? Where has the Pac-12 been?
Now think about that for a minute.
Dude I was watching SEC football before they allowed the black athlete, ok? Sheesh!
Tyrone wins the Wyoming 100m in 10.76. He is a state champ. A 10.76 won't make the semi's in Florida/Cali/Texas.
Let me guess ya don't get it.
Lets not get it twisted....For people to say the Pac-12 is even comparable to the SEC is ludicris. And people in this thread talking about how hard it is to win the Pac-12 because all the teams are so good...and the conference "fed on itself"....is just laughable.
Does anybody here think that Oregon, Stanford, or UCLA/USC (the best Pac-12 teams) would run the table in the SEC? Or only have 1 loss?
no they couldn't run the table and no Pac12 team lately has stacked up to Alabama just like no SEC team stacked up to USC a decade ago. But the top 4-5 Pac12 teams have far better QB's and could hang with any other SEC team.
Dude, everyone gets the SEC, ok? They have those big fast defenses, we get that. But when it comes to QB/receivers, it's all about the Pac12 as far as quan y of talent goes.
Alabama is good....damn good I'll admit. But you act like they're the only team winning the SEC/National Championship in those 10 years. LSU won...Auburn won...Florida won...and Alabama won.
When the Pac-12 won those National Championships with USC...it was USC and USC alone.
That's all good, but it doesn't change things. The Pac12 teams beat each other, which is my point.
Last season there's Oregon losing two games...Stanford and Arizona.
Stanford loses two games..Utah and USC.
UCLA loses three games...Oregon, Stanford, ASU
History is full of that sort of thing.
The SEC has as much skilled players if not more than the Pac-12. No debate about that. More skilled players come out of the South than anywhere else. The Pac-12 is nice and flashy, but they don't have the speed and power on both sides of the ball like the SEC. And the SEC has good QBs as well. Apparently you haven't been watchy.
I thought the Pac-12 would battle the SEC this year, but I was dead wrong. Hasn't been close.
But those Oregon and Stanford teams have never been good enough to win championships. They couldn't compete with the 2000s USC or the other SEC teams which won it all.
The SEC has the superior big guys but do not match the Pac12 when it comes to backs, receivers and QB's. I am talking NFL success there.
In the past, maybe so, but let's talk about the last 10 years. Different story.
Hows that?
What SEC young QB compares to Andrew Luck?

More mighty than I thought.
Oregon is changing the way the college hame is played, it's taking big defensive lines out of the game. Those 300 pounders in a world of hurt vs that up tempo style. By the middle of the third quarter those opposing D's are beat.
So what does Ohio State do.....run tthe ball, slow the game down, not wanting to score quickly, I know that sounds weird but it's true. Play keep way.

Obviously if the Pac12 wins the most bowl games and Oregon that Championship belt, they are the best conference in the land.....right?
Since the Big12 had nobody in the final 4 they must be the worst of the Big 5....right?
THE PAC12 RULZ!!!!!!!!!
Remember it's all about the bowl games. Baylor sucks, they lost their bowl game, what a joke they are. USC would kick their ass. they won their bowl game.
Boise State would kick Oregon's ass, they beat the team that beat them in a bowl game.
The "mighty" SEC has embarrassed themselves in the first year of an actually fair system, that's for sure.
Yep, the conference was a fake all these years. Yep, we finally see the real SEC. The only thing that matters is this bowl season.
So it's the Pac12 that's really been the elite conference all these years, 2014 proves that. I knew that!
Forget the fact that Arizona can beat Oregon but not Boise State. That Air Force team must be great, they beat Boise St who beat Arizona who beat Oregon.
The Big10 is far better than the Big12, didn't Mich St beat Baylor, aren't the Buckeyes in the le game? What are the bowl records?
Obviously Michigan St woould beat TCU , they beat Baylor who beat TCU.

Like I said, the Pac12 is the best conference in the land, look at our 2014 bowl results, as we know nothing else matters. 5-1.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
West coast football the best in the land as we are seeing.
How could anyone disagree....5-1..IN 2014 BOWL GAMES!!!!!!!!
So to all you SEC/Big10/ACC/Big12 fans, hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE PAC12 RULZ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Best football in the land, west coast~~~~~~~~~
It took a west coast team to beat FSU.....![]()

This is funny.....
You can't run down the SEC because of lack of bowl success and not give the Pac12 props for bowl success....hahahaha!!!!!!!!!
Remember....all that matters is 2014 bowl results, that says it all.
If Oregon wins and the conference wins the most 2014 bowls that will prove which conference is the best.....right?
