eh, they've picked him off twice and forced 2 punts. that's a pretty good job against denver. their qb is 10-23 passing and their running game has 13 rushes for 33 yards.Manning with 300 yards + 3 TDS in the first half even with giving away 2 possessions. I've seen Houston defense get screwed with their offense and still come through. I've seen plenty of defenses hold their ground, especially in the first half, when the offense can't move the ball. No excuses for a defense getting shredded like this.
that last TD was obviously a gaffe. not trying to defend it. but i can't make this game about the AZ defense. you give the Broncos 7 possessions in a half (not counting the last one where the clock ran out) and they're going to get points. puts them on pace for 14 possessions for the game. you aren't going to stop the broncos from scoring forever if you keep giving them the ball.
Rex Ryan is going to get killed if he doesn't start Vick next week, tbh
not playing great is one thing. going 5 straight drives without a first down is another(im not including when they started with 1st and goal on the 5.
this is why i've never bought into the "cards are just as good with Stanton" talk.
Also, how can you not stop a team at all that can't run?? They don't even pretend to try and run
Stanton wasn't dropping passes and completely failing to create holes for the RB
stanton misses a lot of throws, and the defense doesn't respect him

proverbially, the best way to stop an elite QB is to keep him off the field. keep giving Manning and co. shots, they'll eventually get on the board
