TCU should be ranked much higher than Baylor. Baylor should barely be top 10 with who they've destroyed.
FIFY. There's something to be said for wreaking the kind of havoc on opposing teams even if the compe ion hasn't been very good. IMO they've played like a top-5 team to this point in the season.

But as Blake said, rankings are moot at this point.TCU has a chance to prove you right (or wrong) on Saturday.

Will it be possible to have two or three teams from the SEC west in the playoff?

If so, that's re ed, but if it makes enough complaints to where they expand it to 8 or hopefully 12, I'm all for it for this year.

Baylor gets a break seeing that TCU is coming off an emotional win and having to travel to Baylor while Baylor continues to pile easy wins. No excuse for Baylor to lose this one at home even though TCU is better overall.

So you've constructed a reality in which the conclusion is TCU being better no matter the outcome. Well done.

I do think it would be the best for the game if we did have FSU, SEC Stud, Big12 King and the Pac12 survivor in the final 4. That's get everyone involved except the Big10 and it's real obvious they don't belong.

Auburn in the next 4 weeks.....ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The SEC has been so good compared to the rest of the country, they should get two teams. They have 4 teams who are capable of being in the top 5 with Auburn, Ole Miss, MSU, and Bama.

I don't see the Pac-12 having a viable championship contender at this point. Most likely their best teams will get two losses. I don't see UCLA or Oregon being top 4 teams at this point.

The Big 12 will get one team out of OU/TCU/Baylor

Florida State should get in as well.

So I see two teams out of Auburn/Ole Miss/MSU/Bama, one team out of Baylor/TCU/OU, and Florida State.

The Pac-12 will be left out.

Yep, it definitely looks like the Pac-12 will be left out at this point.

If UCLA would have beaten Utah, they would clearly be a top 5 team with the schedule they've played already.

Oregon behind Mich St, are you kidding me?

Yep the Pac12 will devour each other, all those NFL to be QB's and no final 4 team, that sucks.

Those teams are losing games they shouldn't lose, especially at home. That's what's gonna hurt them in the end. One of those teams needs to win out, but none of these teams look quite good enough, especially in this tough conference. No real juggernauts. Its unfortunate because they're still the 2nd best conference although they're much closer to the Big 12 than the SEC at this point.

Not a big fan of reality are ya? When we see good teams losing to other conference teams that should seen a message.

Look at FSU, they don't deal with anything remotely close week in and week out like we see in the SEC/Pac12. Yet, there they sit at number one.

I agree and I wouldn't have FSU in the top 4.

But look at UCLA. Utah's a good team, but the Bruins have to win that if they're gonna be considered a national contender.

USC gets blown out at Boston College and loses on a Hail Mary to ASU.

ASU gets destroyed at home by a UCLA team that wasn't playing up to expectations.

Oregon gets bullied around at home against Arizona.

Championship teams rarely lose home games against inferior opponents. Gotta take care of business at home.

They're good on both sides of the ball. But they need to show more than just one big victory.

Also, I think a one loss Pac-12 team would get a shot at the playoff, but outside of Arizona, everyone else has to win out and those teams just aren't good enough to do that in the type of compe ion they're facing. That's all I'm saying right now.

How do we really know who is inferior? How many times have we seen 20 point underdogs win the game outright? So much for perception.

It's still early in the season, and now that the Bama vs RinkyDink U are over we are seeing how things really are.

Too many good teams, but no real dominant teams. Not dominant enough to get through the Pac-12 with only one loss.

It's always great ting the bed at home, one national TV, while hosting like 100 recruits for visits. Awesome! To a ty Trojan team at that.

Wildcat football's inability to handle any level of expectation is laughably bad.

Team is young, and the night is young, but they are playing like youngins, not like world beaters. Oregon win looks great. This loss would look very bad.
