Cheers. Was I drunk when I made this post or what?
Are we doing grades for this game, or is that just a RS/Playoff thing?
Pop will get a F for his choice of line ups.
I read somewhere that Alba Berlin has a 10,000 seat stadium and they ALWAYS sell out at home. So hopefully they'll have a full house for the Spurs. And I hope the Spurs give their best effort--I know how much Pop respects those euro teams. I remember we played CSKA Moscow last year and our starters were playing late into the 3rd quarter. We ended up winning in OT.
But it sucks that this game is at 1pm central time... guess I'll have to DVR it and stay off twitter.
Why would you say that?
I'll give ten Stanley Nickles to whomever would like to do the Grades.
"Why is Holland playing over Anderson!?"![]()
lol Kyle and Kawhi looked dead serious.
I'll be there. Look for me, I'm the shockingly handsome dude.

Alba has one of the better home crowds in Europe. This game will be played in the O2 World arena which is usually reserved for higher profile games and has a couple thousand more seats than the regular one (14500 vs 11900). I would expect a packed arena with a vocal crowd.
Alba doesn't really have any NBA caliber players on its roster but they will play tough and aggressive defense and won't allow the Spurs to walk all over them and turn the game into a practice.
Alba plays all home games in the O2 World arena, but only sell out the arena against top tier opponents and in the playoffs. But the hardcore Alba fans which are present always make a lot of noise. I expect Wednesdays game to be sold out because the chances of watching NBA teams play in Europe are rare.
Alba already looks pretty locked in early in the season, they won their games pretty handily. But they look really small, so I would like to see Timmy and even Baynes take advantage there ... and Kawhi may post up as well. Alba defense looked good, but lets see how the refs call it ... and as the Spurs do not have many new players to integrate into the system of course they should win the game.
Damn, I guess it's showing that the last time I went to a game was ages ago. Leon Radosevic is a decent big and he was actually linked to the Spurs in some mock drafts two years ago.
I do not know the height of the Alba players, but in their first game against Munich they looked awfully small compared to the Bayern center Bryant (who reminds me of Big Country btw) ...
I just saw on Facebook that Timmy and Matty will be in the Adidas Store near the Europe Center this evening ... I will be there for sure !!!
How many hours is this from now? Anyone can link the whole game? I might be asleep during this.
~27.5 hours from now.
Should be able to find a stream on firstrowsports, I would imagine.
hmmm so I will be asleep then, you think there's some kind of replay link like the one in the playoffs?
I wouldn't count on it, unless some fan records it and posts a torrent or something. Spurs.com will probably only have highlights, at best.
