As a shooter, or as a player overall ?
Winning another ring won't add to his legacy as a shooter or player overall

Seriously kids, if you could make $1.45 million to tour the country, bang skanks two at a time, hit a couple of shots, and play Harden D without the media killing you for it, you're turning that down?

Yep, he is a sellout now chasing rings wherever Lebron is at. I have no respect for this guy anymore, he used to be a player.
He's 40 years old and still has the desire to play... should he go waste whatever talent he has left in some hole like Philly just so he's not "ring-chasing"?

Past history doesn't factor in tbh. It's like asking me who I think will be better next year between Ray Allen and Chauncey Billups. Tearing an achilles is a death sentence for the career of players already in decline. Last year Kobe was a far below average shooting guard before he got hurt again. That's not smack talk, it's fact: shooting 42%, 19% from three, with 5.7 turnovers and a PER of 10.87. I mean there was one player on the entire Spurs team with a worse PER last season: Aron Baynes the fifth big with a 9.76. Why would anyone think Kobe will be any better this season with another year of age on his body?

Wonder what they'll get for Waiters and a first. Maybe Taj Gibson with the trade exception? Valanciunas? Gasp Tiago? Most of the talent at C either can't be got for an undersized liability on D, or isn't worth giving up a 22 year old #4 pick for. As it stands they are one Varejao sprained pussy away from a frontcourt of Love, Thompson, and Brendan Haywood against Gasol/Noah/Gibson, Nene/Gortat/Pierce, Horford/Millsap/Antic, Drummond/Monroe/Smith, Al Jefferson, and Chris Bosh.

The players who could stay on one team throughout their career and stick it out are the best ones IMO, but I guess go chasing rings if you must at the end of your career if you are not one of those kind of players I mentioned. He went from Boston a so called Rival to a hated Heat team, even Garnett and Pierce did not talk to him after that. I am sorry I don't respect the guy now but thats my opinion.
