I was first tbh
you need to work on your speed

So who was listed, it wouldn't work for me.
Dude, lets talk about those who wouldn't make that list...ok?
Gary Lewis
Earl Cooper
Ricky Patton
Vic Washington
Amos Lawrence
John Henry Johnson
Charlie Garner
Kevin Barlow
Terry Kirby
James Owens
Larry Schrieber
O.J.Simpson
Come on man, figure it out.
Now who up there was a 'world class" hurdler?
When you saw your first Niner game in 1960, what can Google do for ya?
you can just go down the niners all time rushing list and start listing names
http://www.pro-football-reference.co...er-rushing.htm
So I left JJ Stokes off the list, because?
You really think any long time Niner fan needs Google?
Enable a fatass to pretend that he saw his first Niner game in 1960, for one....
Or ya could have beeen a fan since the early 60's like myself and seen most all those play.
So tell me shorty, what Olympic sprinter did the Niners pick up off that 1960 team?
I was just thinking I probably saw my first Niner game more like in 58/59.
Ray Norton. google is amazing
I was born in 1949, started playing football at around 7/8 or so, started watching televised games around 9-10 or so. My first football hero was Willie Galimore with the Bears, the first fast/elusive/agile/quick black back I ever saw. The guy was amazing.
So when I talk about Jim Brown, Gale Sayers, Paul Lowe, I saw them play many times. It was against my Niners that Sayers had his 6 TD day....ouch!
So while Norton was at San Jose State who was the other 'world class" sprinter there with him? And who was the SJS Spartan who came just before Norton who also held the 9.3 world record that Norton would tie?
Now tell me who was their great kick returner who was a hurdler while in college?
Hahahaha!!!!!!!!
Oh no there are no such things as football fans from the 60's, talk about something hard to believe...hahaha!!!!!!!!!!!
Abe Woodson. dude google is really easy to use. i found it in about 15 seconds flat
So who can tell to me about these backs who came from...
UOP
Furman
North Texas State
Humbolt State
Azusa Pacific
The Citadel
Long Beach State
Texas Southern
Grambling
Southern U
Maryland State
Prairie View
But I noticed you ignored everything else....why?
So I know about Abe Woodson, Joe Perry, JD Smith, RC Owens because of Google, do you really believe that? So how old am I?
No way I could be a 65 year old football fan, right?
But....
You missed...
Long Beach State....Terry Metcalf
Southern U....Robert "Tank" Homes, Mack "The Truck" Lee Hill
Grambling....Paul "Tank" Younger, Essex Johnson
Furman...Chris Warren
Maryland State...Emerson Boozer
North Texas State....Abner Haynes
Winnie Ellison? Try.....Willie Ellison who was a 1000 yard rusher for the Rams.
Let's add...
Brian Westbrook, Bily Joe....Villanova
Mercury Morris, Duane Thomas.....West Texas State
Sid Blanks...Texas A&I
Joe Delaney....NWLa
Joe Perry....Compton JC

Same people as yours except Watters was an H.M. and strzykalski was in but slightly different order.
No, but you said non-niner fans can't make those lists. We easily could if we wanted to.
Why is it so hard to believe that yes we do have people alive on this planet who are long time football fans?
Saw the first game your Chargers ever played, the very play in Charger history what happened? A bit unique.
lol i didnt think u actually wanted me to list every single runner from those schools... just named one or two
was a typo, you obviously know who i was going forWinnie Ellison? Try.....Willie Ellison who was a 1000 yard rusher for the Rams.
ur literally just listing random/arbitrary players and their school. what's impressive about that?Let's add...
Brian Westbrook, Bily Joe....Villanova
Mercury Morris, Duane Thomas.....West Texas State
Sid Blanks...Texas A&I
Joe Delaney....NWLa
Joe Perry....Compton JC
I was talking about off the top of their head, but I didn't make that clear.
I never said you weren't.
You left off most of the better backs for those schools. You cannot talk Furman and not talk Chris Warren or Grambling and not talk Tank Younger who was the first SWAC player in the NFL. You cannot talk Long Beach State and not talk Terry Metcalf.
It's not so much about about impressive as it is having depth. Something long time fans have while the newbies don't.
