He went from Boston a so called Rival to a hated Heat team, even Garnett and Pierce did not talk to him after that. I am sorry I don't respect the guy now but thats my opinion.
Celtics had been dangling him in trade rumors for years, why did they deserve his unconditional loyalty? Plus he had already left Milwaukee and Seattle in the past....

Bum is full of crap ... Ray laid your ass out in 2013 but couldnt hardly do in 2014 ...

I am enjoying he Cavs hate that is brewing here ... I dont sense and San Antonio Heat vibes the last two Finals have also eliminated some of the Lebron jock ridin' here. Should be good stuff I am actually rooting for the Cavs would Love to see Kevin (ha!) prove he is as good as his stats indicate. Hate em or love 'em Cavs have:

    1. One of the best ball-handlers in the league: Irving
    2. Two of the best passing forwards in League and NBA history: Lebron and Love
    3. Two of the best rebounders at both power forward and small forward: Love and Lebron
    4. Clutch shooters: Ray and Miller
    5. Great position speed: Lebron, Kyrie Thompson and Waiters

Cant say they will win it all this year but they will be tough to beat ... Still think they should have kept wiggins I think his defense WOULD HAVE made these dudes the faves.

Ray has game winning misses, and Kobe has some great game winners none as big as Ray's shot. None of that means though Kobe has and always will be the better player. To bad Ray wasnt in his prime now SG is weak he would dominate the position. As is most will say he is behind BOTH Kobe and Wade (legacy wise).

I didn't say Ray Allen would be a good player. I said Kobe will be an awful one, just like Billups became after tearing his Achilles. It's true that Jesus sucked last year, but he still played way better than Snitch did before he decided to quit and try to disavow responsibility for the cluster he created by running Bible Thumper out of town.

We will see. I got a fake internet $20 that Kobe has better year than Ray. He may shot better from 3pt range and FT line but Kobe will be better in every way including defense though both are gonna suck on that end ...

There is no middle ground with Kobe. Either he will be back at an elite level or he will really hurt his team by trying to still be the star, like a worse version of late 90s Ewing. I'm betting more on the latter based on what we saw last season.

Like I said 100, not calling a le for them yet but they will be tough to beat. I kept waiting for Lebron to turn it up another notch vs. KL last year and I am still waiting. But he has a much better offensive team this year especially passers, so we will see.

Well they are certainly better than 2014 Heat imho, Love>Bosh now, yes people can say Bosh is a decent defender but he himself said he doesn't want to do the dirty work anymore. Kyrie kinda cancels out Wade tbh but we will see this season if Wade can miraculously turn his career around, doubtful though.

I also think that calling the Cavs to be a team that is tough to beat really is an easy call and because of the conference tbh, if they were in the west they wouldn't be favorites as you make them to be but then again that's how the NBA works.

Heatles Midwest, enjoy it and the Cavs index on Espn. Cavs will be on national Tv every week. At least you will get to see the best player bust ass with a stacked roster. Those that felt he had no help in Cleveland now he has plenty. I'll enjoy watching him whip everyone's ass except ours.
If and when Lebron fails to win 5 straight championships, Harlem and CN will start saying how weak Kevin Love, Irving and the bunch are, just like how they threw Wade and Bosh under the bus.

I mean its true though. Hes not even going to the highest bidder, just trying to win a ring for some odd reason when it doesnt add to his "legacy"

People forget at one point Ray was compared to Kobe Bryant when he was in the Bucks. KOBE BRYANT
Nah, Allen has always been a strung below Kobe. Kobe was rightfully in the Carter, McGrady, Iverson group.

"Stacked roster" with no defense other than LeBron, soft bigs, and ballhogging guards

Cavs don't need Ray Allen. It's going to be bad for that system because he's an old veteran and the team is full of young guns. They won't know who to listen to, Lebron or Ray, and if there's ever a disagreement between the two, someone like Kyrie will try to play the D-Wade role.

What excuses? It's a vastly overrated supporting cast... I can already see so-called "superstars" Kyrie and Love disappearing come playoff time while LeBron gets all the blame per par....

To be fair, that was his era. Kobe V Carter\McGrady\Iverson. He eclipses those guys legacy wise.

Tbh the Great Satan already has an excuse with how fragile Love/Irving/Andy are.

    Their team could look like

    Waiters
    Miller
    Bron
    Thompson
    Haywood
