Seattle is a smart defense, especially against an offense that's always trying to read and react. They'll trick Garrett and Romo into throwing the ball 60 times, and the Cowboys defense will suddenly look terrible again because they never get any chances to rest. I hope I'm wrong, but Ginger Landry has always reverted to form.
They've shown this year that it's not the case. Which is why they're 4-1. There are times where the past seasons they have tried to pass the ball, but this season they are rushing in those situations. The addition of Scott Linehan has really helped this team.
Yeah it's going to be important that we score early and get off to a good start. The last thing we need is to be is down a possession or two and having that offense line wear us down.
They ain't gonna wear us down in the CLink.
Going to say that the Hawks D will remind Romo of the choker he is in big game situations.
Yeah, obscenely hot weather won't be a factor so extended drives won't drain us nearly as much. But, at the same time, that offensive line is a different animal altogether. I'd rather make Romo try to make plays into coverage as opposed to seeing Murray get 30 touches. Make them one dimensional on the passing side as early as possible.
They have a good O-line, but they haven't seen our run defense yet.
The running game is definitely why they're 4-1, but after last year, I just don't trust Romo or Garrett to stick with it. They needed a first down to burn the clock at the end of the Texans game and they threw the ball. Romo was going back to pass on the delay of game, and they threw it the next two times.![]()
The other problem that the Cowboys may run into is Romo trying to change the play, which won't work in Seattle. He likes to get cute and run the clock all the way down. If he doesn't just run the play that's given to him, they're gonna have a hard time.
And y'all haven't faced an OL like Dallas'.
Your run defense is a tad better than 49ers'. Murray dropped 118 yards on them. I'd argue that our OL has improved since then.
Agreed. They gotta take the ball outta Romo's hands. If Murray gets 25+ carries I like our chances. Time of possession will be huge in this one.
Oh, and I can't wait to see McClain v. Beast Mode.
Who have the Cowboys beat on the road the last two seasons? They struggled with Houston at home. What are we looking at that says they have a chance "in" Seattle? The Seahawks can beat the Packers. Broncos and Niners there, what, they can't beat the Cowboys also?
The Cowboys have beaten four teams with a combined record of......7-13.
The Seahawks have beaten three teams with a combined record of....7-7

Bet a guy 100 with the spread of seahawks minus 8.5
I just dont see cowboys winning this game, especially how rested Marshawn will be taking off Wednesdays practice.
Looking for a nice game from T Crawford at the 3-tech. He has been a pleasant surprise for us. His quickness has caused problems for OGs and Cs.
Should be up 17-3 on the Super Bowl champs.. great start Cowboys![]()
Could also be down if Maxwell catches that back shoulder throw. All in all, a nice first half all around. A lot of time, should be a nice finish.
ing Harris, god damnit! What a ing lucky break for these sorry ass gots.
Edit: Great, another gifted TD.

4 catches on 10 targets... eh i'd call it a draw if anything
Not even close IMO. Big catches right at Sherman, moved the chains and drew at least one penalty that moved the chains if not more.
