21 personnel isn't his personal name, its typical west coast offense vocabulary. just means 2 backs 1 tight end (thus 2 receivers)

saying they do what they do best isn't easy is referring to how they impose their will on their defense. like teams know the broncos want to throw the ball to demaryius and julius thomas. and most times, despite the defense specifically trying to stop that, the broncos are able to go out and get the ball to those guys.
He said HE calls it 21 personnel.

I do understand your point, but not his statement.
Maybe he could make your reference with the teams playing?
Anyways, I find him very awkward, and amusing.

    But thanks for the clarification.

so we gone blame kaepernick for the special team blunder, davis dropping passes and niner defense being mediocre or nah?
I will blame him for nearly throwing two picks (one was dropped by the defender) and the poor decision making on multiple drives resulting in punts, albeit Harbaugh's awful coaching played a part in some of it I'm sure.

Niners may as well hire Gregg Williams as their DC. He's been their best coach when it counts.

11/16 (3 drops from his TE's) 191 yrds and a TD is pretty good to me.

I agree. I know it's popular here to on Black Qb's, PG led teams and black coaches. But Kap has talent. He needs work. But he is like poor (maybe homeless man) man's AAron rodgers when it comes to mobilty plus arm strength. I may have held off on his extension another year but you guys ting on him makes no sense. Still a whole half to go. and if he ever figures it out you are set at the most important position.

Thinking Gruden's leaving his cushy ESPN job to go back to the Black hole
he wants to coach again, and the longer he stays in the booth the more difficult it will be

we have a vacancy and a franchise QB in place for a guy who is a QB coach

Another great throw by Kap (touch) and even better catch by Gore.

again I am defending another guy hated on by the forum let me add Kap/wilson to: Romo, Kobe, Russ, Durant, Lebron (on money matters) and Drose.

    Oh, and PBF!!!

That TD and 80 of those yards came on one play, and I already admitted that was a great sequence. Other than that his decision making has been suspect.

yup, i only see the kap hate on ST. the potential is obvious. like u said, once he figures everything out he's going to be a problem.

    Gruden:
After discussing all the discussing the variety of Ram sets, and taking joy in all of them, even giving one his own name ( I call it 21 personnel). Yes John, most of us just make up our names for offensive sets... He states:

The Rams are doing what they do best.
And that's not easy to do.

    WTF?

    Gruden is absolutely bizzare.
He just blabbers stream of consciousness coach talk and then cleverly destroys cliches unknowingly.
And it's good. I don't get it. Why do I listen to the amusing freak...
Bill burr has been going off on him every week in his podcast, pretty funny stuff

so 10/15 (3 drops) for 110 yards? still pretty good. you're just being nitpicky, fam. there are a lot of teams that would kindly take kap off ya hands.

people get bored of "potential" talk when its your third year as a starter. he still plays like he did the year he took over

One SB and two (or is it 3?) NFC le games. Sure the defense and run game are huge parts of that but you cannot say in the playoffs especially versus Packers that he was not a huge part of their success ...

I got a Niners buddy that was down on Kap ... even right after the SB loss. I tried to argue with him, told him ...hey he is young ... he told me he would trade him for Romo straight up if I could convince Jerry. Dude was an elite HS QB out of Mississippi lives here in DFW says he has seen Romo in person and it's not close, romo is better. I told him like Cowboys fans the standard Niners have for QB's is high (Montana/young) ...cut him some slack. Im starting to wonder if he was right. He told me dude doesnt have "it".

I still think maybe in right system he might still figure things out, remember a few years back people were down on Rivers. eli has had some ty years.
Niners fan, you guys giving up on him already? Honest analysis ...?
Kap has never been better than Romo

are we talking about his play or the team record? he has shown virtually no improvement since taking over. as the team around him declines, they are expecting him to improve to keep them at that high level

I agree, but he is still young. and he has more playoff wins. Put romo on those teams he has 'em too, I bet. But just feel Kap has upside to be better and I am a Romo apologist. We will see he may never get there.
