djohn2008...you're a in moron. (Especially because you don't even know what to do if you win the coin toss in overtime) But, your blind hatred of the SEC is laughable.
Here's a bet...at the end of the year....we'll go back and look at the "hardest schedules" in college football. I bet the SEC has more teams (by %) than any other conference in America. We can do top 5, top 10, top 25, top 50....whatever you want. I'm betting you that the loser of this bet has to leave ST forever and never post again..............
I would advise you to run and hide...and not take this bet however. Because it's a losing bet. You see I would of won in 2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006........and so on. And I will win in 2014 too.
ing moron....you say nobody in the SEC plays anybody. They play the most difficult schedules in the Nation. Your Alabama "cupcake" schedule is in stupid as . You forgot to put the #1 and #3 teams in the country on it.....
So you gonna take the bet pussy??? I get the SEC...you get every other conference in America.

You kinda mad eh? Why don't you treat yourself to a cupcake.
You left off the Mississippi schools off their schedule as well as Big 12 West Virginia.
I didn't make that picture. It was on Google![]()
I noticed....you didn't accept the bet. Back up what you say....or are you just a big ole' pussy???
It's a re ed bet. If you really want to bet you will do it on bowl games dip .
Dude got it off Google...he doesn't have an original thought in his body. And when he does have an original thought...it is that you should play offense first in college overtime. Even though....a child knows better.
If the SEC doesn't play anybody and their defenses suck....explain to me why they basically make up the "hardest schedules" in the nation list every year. Why does the NFL continue to draft more SEC defensive players than any other conference?
Dude...once again you opening up your dumbass mouth. WE ALL SEE RIGHT THROUGH YOU!!!!!
The same reason they don't drop far in the rankings if they lose to one another. SEC is overrated by the media.
In fairness, preseason polls make that a self-fulfilling prophecy - rank enough SEC teams in preseason based on no actual in-game sample sizes, and it's guaranteed that SEC schools will dominate the list of toughest schedules...
I don't deny that there are great teams in the SEC ( , Boise has witnessed that first-hand in the Georgia Dome twice in the past few years), and djohn's cupcake schtick is going a bit too far, but strength of schedule is a flawed argument in college football for so many reasons.... the only way SOS would ever be useful for determining the best teams is if preseason polls were taken away and the NCAA assigned random schedules to every team like what is done in pro sports....
O.k....that's a valid arguement. I'll buy that. I'll admit that SOS is a somewhat flawed stat. But I'll argue this about the NFL....3/8 (almost half) of a NFL teams schedule is not random. I know that the Bucs are going to play the Saints twice, the Panthers twice, and the Falcons twice every year.
Now what about the NFL drafting more players from the SEC than any other conferene? (for the sake of this thread we'll only focus on the defensive players...even though the most offensive players get drafted too)
I'm talking more about OOC schedules when I mention randomly-assigned scheduling... letting the schools handle it themselves is like letting the inmates run the asylum, as they can just refuse to schedule a good team and then keep them out of the national picture by criticizing their SOS.... on the flipside, if your conference benefits from self-fulfilling prophecies in the polls, you can schedule nothing but cupcakes OOC and hide behind the "our conference is enough of a gauntlet" excuse.... it's just a really flawed system, much like pretty much all of college football's rules....
As for the draft, it's not like that guarantees success.... Miami puts tons of players into the NFL, yet their program has been a dumpster fire for almost a decade....
