    Didn't seem like a big deal to me as they share the Cedar Park Center with the Dallas Stars' affiliate, The Texas Stars. I've always hated the name "Toros" anyway.

    Reinforcing their D-League team association with an instantly identifiable brand is a good, if not brilliant, move. For those who don't follow the D-League much it may give them a 'spur' to looking at the team. I'm sure any confusion in PR releases can be handled by their front office by adding "Austin Spurs" or "D-league Spurs"
