LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin said his frustration over continued hard fouls "probably" will result in him retaliating if it continues.
Griffin and Utah Jazz forward Trevor Booker had to be separated in the third quarter of the Clippers' 101-97 preseason win Friday when Booker fouled Griffin hard in midair. After they exchanged words, Griffin grabbed the back of Booker's head before both players were pulled back by their teammates.
"I was going to, but then I thought, 'It's preseason,'" Griffin said when asked about retaliating. "It's not worth it. That's not the person I want to waste it on."

Before, he was "soft" for not retaliating and letting it happen, now it'll be spun as him being "soft" for retaliating and "letting it get to him".... the hate is almost at LeBron levels of irrationality

Looked like Jazz made a decent attempt to play on the ball.
But....also looked like Jazz may not have ever got his hand on the ball.

That wasn't a flagrant foul. That was a play on the ball. If you look closely, he was trying to say that he didn't mean it like that but Griffin was already in attack mode.
Griffin flops & gets hated on a lot but he also gets fouled a ridicuolous amount. It was a shot to the head in a preseason game from someone he's gotten into it with before. He should be pissed and should stand up for himself.
And Malik Hairston is gonna come here and say that today's players would survive in the 80s

Why was he trying to kiss him? Maybe someone should tell him but I think Blake has the tough guy act all wrong.
BTW- It was a clean hard foul to stop the drive but of course this is modern pussified NBA so suspension coming.

Blake overreacted on this play, considering how Booker didn't have any intention to hurt him, evidently as Booker even went up to him to brace him.
