tough one.
I still remember the Tom's Hardware article when they first suggested vegetable oil. I'd rather keep my warranties tbh, especially considering those mineral oil cases are insanely expensive. Hmmmm, GTX 980 and a blowjob at Paradise or a mineral oil case?
tough one.
You don't have access to a leaf blower?
nah, I wish
Payday 2 at 7.49 is tempting
Would you even want to use something like that? I have a compressor I use for filling my tires and for the airbrush when I paint my Nazi Stuka and Messerschmidt models tbh, but I don't know if I want to shoot that mother er into my case.
That game looked so awesome at first glance, but this review says the single player AI is so bad as to make it unplayable.
oh hey look a PC thread
Wtf are you doing playing single player Payday?
Is there much out there that benefits from an overclock on an i5 when you put a frame cap of 60 on? (I mean no reason to draw extra frames your monitor can't display if you have a 1080p monitor) I could see a locked i5 becoming a bottleneck in an SLI/Crossfire setup for a monitor with a higher refresh rate, but in a single card setup for 1080p, even if you went high end like 780 Ti or 980?
I ing hate playing anything multiplayer unless it's playing 2k with friends in the same room.
ahh I rarely play SP, DJR210 recommended it to me for online co-op
In most games you won't notice any difference. You will mainly see the difference when using benchmarking programs. It's also good for removing a potential bottleneck on an older CPU. I could go back to stock and wouldn't notice a difference at this point.
Nah, Payday is amazing with friends online. The coordination that's possible is great. You can stealth all the missions for big XP and cash, but it's ing hard, especially with randoms.
If you watch the Crysis 3 segment of this review I found, you can see some real frametime es for a i5 4690k stock vs i7 4790k stock. I'm wondering if it's the hyperthreading or the 500 MHz higher clock frequency that makes up most of this difference.
I'm not sure Crysis 3 even uses hyperthreading?
Supposed to be the most heavily threaded game out there right now. It's certainly performing way better on the i7 than the i5 in that video.
LOL for a first time publishers these dudes got balls.
is backfiring so far. I just saw the trailer last night. I like me a violent game and but this game has no purpose other than killing randoms.![]()
How do you call this much publicity backfiring? This no name company is relevant overnight off one trailer.
Controversy sells.
Yeah but not all publicity is good publicity.
Just about every gaming outlet is ting on this game.
At the end of the day, this "game" is not much of one if all you do is kill people without an objective or some sort of goal.
It doesn't matter who is ting on the game, there is a certain group of gamers that will embrace this twisted game and that is who they are going after. I think it will be enough people to make it a success. I think it will have somewhat of a cult following.
A bunch of people will buy it off the hype from the trailer, play it for an hour, realize it's , and never touch it again. Like GTA IV.

Chill, you sound like a social justice warrior now. There is a storyline to it, who gives a if you're killing innocents in that story. It's a game.
Agreed.
How much more twisted is this game than Grand Theft Auto? In GTA V you go and start executing soldiers at an army base because one of them made fun of you for being Canadian. The game looks ing gay though, like a cheap emo knockoff of Diablo II except in ty black and white with cutscene executions.
