UTSA have lost the motivation they had earlier in the season, plus C-USA has unexpectedly been the best G5 conference up to this point.

QB play mostly. Although the o-line has been surprisingly bad as well. Prior to the UTEP game I hadn't seen any quit, just a really incompetent offense, but the team had no life on Saturday. No excuse for losing 34-0 to a bad UTEP team tbh.

They started out 1-2 after beating a bad Kent St team. They kept the game close against Mississippi State for a half before getting blown out in the second half and lost at home easily to a good Georgia Southern team. They've won the last 4 games against teams among the worst in the country including Applachian State, Idaho, Georgia St, and Troy. So basically we're 5-2 with all of our wins against teams among the bottom 13 in the country. Our QB and passing game are terrible. Our defense is actually really good and we have good RBs as well. We have really good WRs, but our QB is an athlete first and passer never. Brutal.
The remaining games are at UL-Lafayette, at Arkansas St, Texas State at home, At South Carolina, and Navy at home. We should easily beat Texas State at home and easily lose at South Carolina, but the road games at ULL and Arkansas State and home game versus Navy are tossups and we'll be underdogs in those games. I really think 6-6 is a viable option without a bowl game and our QB will be the biggest reason why.
ULL is having a down year. La Tech killed them at their house and I'm not sold on them. As bad as UTSA has been, they went to Ruston the week before this one and outplayed them for 3.5 quarters. I know they've been the class of the Belt but USA has a good shot in that game. Here's hoping yall get to 7 wins.
Im very, very disappointed. I dont even have a good response on why UTSA went to this year. I mean, even with so so quarterbacks, the running backs should be kickin ass and they arent. Just a piece of year all together.
