Maybe kick ball needs a 24 second clock so they will try to score more
It's far more difficult to put the ball into a soccer goal than basketball hoop. It would result in a-lot of violations and thus stoppage time. Plus it would heavily cheapen the Goal, which is the most exhilarating play in team sports.

a kick ball and a basketball are both about the same size but the kick ball goal and the basket are not. In
basket ball you need some skills to get it in the basket. Kick ball is the world game that is so popular in the
third world because you don't need any skills to play........

.It proves the skill level by the 0-0 or 1-0 kick ball scores.

A random fan stepping onto an NBA court has an exponentially greater chance of putting the ball into the hoop than a Premier League fan has of stepping onto a gigantic soccer field, maneuvering (WITH HIS FEET) past 10 defenders and then accurately and with enough power getting a shot into the Goal. Oh and there is a Goalkeeper in front of the net too.

    Exhibit A

Fan could chuck half court shots over LeBron's head and eventually one would fall. This is inconceivable in Soccer.

    - Scoring goal in EPL
    - Scoring TD in NFL
    - Scoring goal in NHL
    - Hitting HR in MLB
    - Making a shot in NBA

^ 1 is significantly easier than the others. Because one occurs over 100 times within 1 single game.

at least every baseball game is guaranteed to have a run scored. plenty of soccer games go 0-0, which is why i'm confused as to why the soccer fans here are saying "LOL long game nothing happens"

Actually i illustrated above 3% of EPL games in October finished 0-0. That is the definition of very rare

    - Constant commercial breaks
    - No limit on subs utions
    - Designated hitter

Baseball is centered on pre-pitch decisions. Meaning before the pitch every player already knows where they will run and where they will throw the ball. Game lacks spontaneity

a older viewer base is not a big deal right now..Baseball sells lots of adds. It has viewers every year unlike
kick ball that brings in viewers only once every four years. How many times have we heard the kick ball hype?
It will fade away as US viewers get board with a lack of scoring and too much flopping....

Just because no one in the US cares about a Euro sport is nothing to get butt hurt about. My Euro favorite sport is Formula 1 and they will be
in Austin this weekend. I will be at turn 11 this weekend watching the racing. I know NASCAR is #1 in the US but I don't fall out
with the case of the red ass because of it. The F1 fan base is not big in the US is not big but so what. That's life as a Euro sport fan....

The pro-soccer crowd here consists of the lowest common denominator posters ST has to offer:

A murderer's row of be@ners, greynames, and sycophants
It bores me to death. I went to a world series game Angels bs Giants , 7th row behind first base, and all i could see were people waiving monkeys , and all I could think about was man, a banana sounds tasty right now.

at least every baseball game is guaranteed to have a run scored.
So you're willing to wait 10 hours before a team finally scores?

    Are you 54.4 years old?

Edit : just saw your post about Sabathia
