    Hakeem is propped up because he put up gaudy stats on losing teams and had a great two year run when Jordan decided to quit basketball. He's probably the third best center ever, but he isn't better than Duncan.

    Tim surpassed Hakeen a while ago tbh.
    You would be shocked how many people disagree with that thought. Hakeem has reached near Jordan, Bird and Johnson level riding in many NBA circles.

    Hakeem stopped playing a long time ago. Give it 10 years and you'll see a lot more people saying Duncan was God and that he was way better than any (currently playing in 10 years) center or PF. It's just the way these things go. Few people are able to acknowledge greatness right when they witness it.
