Philip, don't be silly with the Kawhi talk. Overall, he's incredibly important for what the Spurs do and whether he's 3rd or 5th on any given night doesn't matter because the gap between the 1st and 5th isn't large.

Half joking. Half serious. Spurfans and others severely overrate the guy with all this "superstar" and "franchise player" talk. Dude is a fantastic 3rd option, does a lot of different things on the court and does them well, and could perhaps even be a solid 2nd option if given the right supporting cast and a megastar like Lebron or Durant. But seriously expecting anything more than that is just homerism. He still isn't a strong ball handler, doesn't have anything more than an average post game, a good wide-open shooter but not very good at all when contested (slow set-up, slow release, not very smooth in general), and not particularly adept at creating high quality shots for himself against good defense. He's good, but has more weaknesses than some here want to admit.
