Nash just doing the 1.6 billion s a ing favor imho. He ain't playing so Rin is the starting PG for Lakers every game, which in return generates more broadcast income for the team as well as the league. Win^4 (league, team, s and himself) deal imho.
Nash called up Tiger and got a few pointers on the best
exercises for a bad back. You see how it worked for Tiger.
Nash even hired a EX to swing a 3 iron and chase him around
the yard....
Search "Kobe uncle tom" on twitter, tbh
i'm sure you can look up virtually any black celebrity and find some angry black folks calling them uncle tom
yep. the GOAT (Jordan) gets it too from way back to his Republicans buy my shoes too line ...
Jim Brown has ethered them both and he is the poster child for angry, resentful supposedly militant black man but he has beat women and neglected kids ... so take that as you will ....you cannot make this stuff up.
I think Brown killed Kobe on Arsenio (last year? ) and the crowd (in Los Angeles) was so uncomfortable ...and Brown's senile ass could not care less.
Ignorant out of touch Canadian is ignorant and out of touch
Steve "I'd rather play golf than be on the court with Kobe" Nash.
WTF happened to this guy? I thought Nash used to be one of the good guys of the NBA now he is faking injuries and collecting checks he no longer deserves.. He owes quiet a few people an apology..
Grantland did a whole do entary on this piece of
I think the Laker org told Nash to sit out the season and retire once his back threw out carrying the bags. I doubt Nash himself really wants to hang it up and say "I'm out for the season." The org benefits from announcing that, not Nash. The Lakers get the insurance money and an exception to sign a new player if he's out for the whole year.
Who cares he was helping the tank either way ...
I doubt that. Nash, being the bag he is, is still going to sell tickets and jerseys. They more than likely wanted to squeeze everything they could get in return for his joke of a contract. This is all on Nash and he's not sorry aboot' it.
Swinging a golf club at a driving range does take a similar toll on your back to playing full court, full contact basketball over the course of a 7 month season, after all.
If there is anything that Byron knows about, it's golfing instead of working![]()
Aw. Been removed.
‘Injured’ Steve Nash hits golf balls on Instagram, enraging Lakers fans
Early Lead
Steve Nash will not play for the Los Angeles Lakers this season because of recurring back issues, but he’s still collecting the $9.8 million left on his contract as the 40-year-old decides whether to continue his NBA career in 2015-16.
So maybe, noting said back issues, Nash shouldn’t be posting Instagram videos of his golf swing at a driving range.
The Los Angeles Daily News says that Nash, who has played only 65 games over three seasons with Los Angeles, hasn’t been around the Lakers since announcing his status, though the team would like him to show his face once in a while:
The Lakers have currently allowed Nash to stay away from the team since his season-ending injury. But the Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak, coach Byron Scott and teammates have all expressed hope Nash could serve as a mentor for the Lakers’ younger players. Scott has not talked with Nash since the injury, both for the want to give him space and because of the team’s heavy schedule that entail playing its first four games in five days.
“Hopefully this week, I’ll get a chance to reach out to him, talk to him and see how he’s doing,” Scott said on Tuesday. “Hopefully he can come out here and help us out a little bit. That’s totally up to Steve. You have to give him space. But I’ll definitely try to reach him out this week.”
The comments from Lakers fans on Nash’s Instagram video weren’t exactly supportive. “SMH…just collecting the checks. Meanwhile Lakers are 0-5,” said one. “He’s not A true Laker. He even said …. Collecting the checks!!!” said another.*
