Good points, and I wouldn't put him at the top. Just making the argument that what he's done this far in the season, you gotta give a bit of a nod. As for injury, he's likely to look a bit more durable since he's taking on safeties and corners instead of defensive linemen for a change.
Don't look now, but Romo's been stupid efficient since his terrible first half against the Niners. If he keeps that up, he might supplant Murray in the discussion. Probably not at the top, but he's audibled to runs more times this season than he probably has in the rest of his career combined. That's worth a couple of points right there.![]()

gronk > brady
Pats offense has looked better and better as Gronk has gotten healthier. people should also remember how anemic the Pats offense was last season in the early weeks when Gronk was still out
Tony Romo deserves a shout out. Watching that bum play qb Sunday made me appreciate tony even more.
The cowboys would be like the raiders without Romo. What we saw sunday was like seeing what life will be like with him. Its a scary thought
you have it backwards
the raiders are last in the NFL in rushing yards and the cowboys are first... they have a difference of 88 rushing yards per game. the cowboys average 20 more yards per game through the air than the raiders do.
the run game is what separates them above anything. romo would struggle with our run game and lack of receiving weapons
i know, but making a legit player out of lolfell to me gives him the edge.. also he is having one of his best season ever (sounds crazy but it's true)
Yea i haven't seen the raiders play since ican remember, so i dont give a , all i know is we sucked with out Romo on sunday
that's a valid point as well. LaFell had flashes in Carolina but he's a legit weapon now.
better than Dbs
n. even Brady couldn't turn that guy into anything
Romo is more valuable than Murray. They would still have a strong offense without Murray since they have good receivers and o-line.
we've seen the pass happy, air-it-out cowboys before with these same weapons, and they're nowhere near as good as the Murray-led squad
With Romo playing, Murray has only faced a stacked box 16% of the time. With weeden last sunday he went up against a loaded box 40% of the time. Without Romo teams have no respect and would easily shut Murray down as we saw against the cardnals. The cowboys aren't murray led, they're a well balanced team that complement each other nicely, tbh.
Back half of Colts schedule is pretty easy tbh. If they don't overlook any teams they might only lose one more game the rest of the way. Andrew Luck could have huge days against some of those teams. If the Colts are 12-4 and get the 2 seed (Patriots schedule is brutal as , they'll lose a few more games) and Andrew Luck breaks the yardage record, he'll probably win the MVP.
Time out, we're talking about Andrew Luck breaking the yardage record in Year 3?![]()

4. Brady
5. Murray/Romo
It's amazing Rodgers has only attempted 277 passes this season....just insanely efficient.
tom brady
antonio brown
demarco murray
andrew luck
aaron rodgers
What in the is Demarco Murray doing on anyones list at this point? He's not on pace to break the all time rushing record and in the year that Peterson nearly beat erson he had 6.0 YPC. Demarco Murray isn't even doing anything INTERESTING this year, and if he doesn't get hurt Romo will and tank this whole damn thing. He's also fumbled 5 times losing 3 of them already. He's running on a team with a good offensive line and great passing attack right now. He's not even MVP of his own team. GTFO here.
I'm going with:
1. Brady (Lets be honest, he's carrying some scrubs to the promised land atm)
2. Rodgers
3. Manning
4. Watt (obligatory not quarterback)
From there I feel like it's a wash between a lot of sub par quarterbacking. Lots of guys costing their team too much compared to what they are giving: Romo 18 td 8 int 18 sacks. Rivers 20-8-16. Maybe Ben could take #5 with his lower INT count but 25 sacks is pretty bad.
We shall see!
1. Rodgers
2. Brady
3. Manning
4. Watt
5. Luck
