Crofl well there goes my Hye card
G.O.P. obstructionism, here we come.![]()
just commit some medical fraud and we'll take you back![]()
gonna be hilarious to watch Harry Reid do the filibuster dog and pony show now
that would be funny, but no need to filibuster with oblamo vetoing everything that comes his way

it was obvious he was going to be a lame duck prez in the last couple of years... much like dubya jr... this just accelerates the process...
anyways, back to not getting done![]()
who was dubya sr... to be fair when Obama got re-elected in 2012 he inherited a big mess
yeah, but he shouldn't have been re-elected other than for the fact the GOP can't pick candidates, tbh...
these midterms results were expected, tbh... i just don't think they mean a whole lot when it comes to presidential elections... we'll see who they pick this time
last 4 elections have basically been rock/hard palace
yeah its a common theme, the longer a prez is in office, the lower his approval tends to go (and his party in congress suffers). same reason why Dems won a lot of seats in 06. but today's been more of a bloodbath than i figured... crimson tide, red dawn, etc. etc...these midterms results were expected, tbh... i just don't think they mean a whole lot when it comes to presidential elections... we'll see who they pick this time
I thought they had it in their pocket, but somehow picked Romney + Ryan, a terrible duo... after a strong showing in 2010, they wasted it away...
I think it's the combo of Dems not really getting out to vote for midterms (another common theme), and the ultra conservatives holding their noses and voting GOP (they didn't get all that in 2012)...
anyways, I don't expect much of anything to change
Going to be funny watching Obama become the president of "no"
Oh wait, I forgot nothing is going to change since we really only have a 1 party system anyway.
i think the biggest shock how minorities and women were represented in the election results.
the only black senator elected was Tim Scott (R), the only female senator (non-in bent) elected was Joni Erst (R), and all 3 of the non-white governors elected were also on the Republican ticket Nicki Haley - SC, Suzana Martinez, and Brian Sandoval
the historical pattern held, the only surprise was that Republicans outperformed polling projections, or, to put it the other way around, that the projections were as far off as they were.

Nate Silver @NateSilver538
One thing's become pretty darn clear: polls weren't skewed against Democrats.

Who would have thought America hates a bunch of race-baiting gots?
in retrospect, it's remarkable this happened: http://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/201...oDJ/story.html
Is there anything that scares a modern rat more than a good looking Hispanic republican that's bilingual? . It's going to be interesting where "social" groups align.
I remember when Gore and Kerry were ing sore losers and wouldn't concede. Classless , tbh.
actually, it was Bush who contested the electoral process in Florida in 2000. you can tell by the way the suit was styled: Bush v Gore.
might Gore and Kerry have conceded in a race too close to call? perhaps. we wouldn't have had a presidential election decided by the Supreme Court.
that's what they said about Marco Rubio. apparently a bit more is required than being bilingual, good looking, Hispanic and Republican.
I'll put money on left-leaning MSM saying these election results just prove that voters are racist.
