"Popovich remains undefeated against his three former assistants who are currently serving as NBA head coaches. Budenholzer is 0-3 against Popovich, Philadelphia's Brett Brown is 0-2 and Orlando's Jacque Vaughn is 0-4."

give becky hammon a healthy thunder squad and watch the losses pile up![]()
Pop obscured his true play calling for many years just to solidify these 6 wins.

The Hawks have a nice system, and it's evident that they move the ball well, but they're just a very poorly built team with limited talent..
Even their talented frontcourt is a questionable fit together IMO, too undersized..

The answer is pretty obvious,
They do the pass shoot, the same drills, the same plays, the same skills development.
The problem is, every single play has the small asterisk of assuming you have a friggen HoF Defensive anchor who digs his team out of holes everytime they fall in.
What about when Pop lost a playoff series to Avery Johnson?
AJ was a player under Pop, not an assistant coach.
I'm just glad they are in the playoffs if the "season ended today".
2-1 extrapolates to 55 wins. That's about a 3 or 4 seed in the West.
