Rotation confusion?

Anyone else struggling to find the rhyme or reason to the rotations so far this year? It seems to be completely random. For example Baynes came in for about a minute got a 3 second call and didn't play the rest of the game. Kawhi came back in the game after a long rest with 9 minutes to play, but then he came out 2 minutes later.

Kawhi and Danny come out in the 1st quarter before Tim and Tony, but then come back in before Kawhi. It's so completely random.

Doesn't Pop usually play mad scientist at this time of year? I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Pop does this every year till after the all star break...Pop likes to try combo's of the
bench players to give them time to play with each other. Rotations also seem to change
at the start of the year to give the players in the international tourneys some time off.

I am pretty sure Baynes made some mistake the occasional fan might not notice. kawhi just plays average right now ...

Fortunately, no teams seem to actually care about winning this early in the season. Spurs included.
