Top 3 wasted talent at the QB position in NFL history?

As a Broncos fan, I used to think he had superstar potential, so did most people..he could make passes that only a few other QBs could make..I always said that he was mentally weak, but I figured he would eventually get over it, especially after moving on when McDaniels arrived to Denver..

Cannon arm, good mobility, good accuracy, but terrible decision maker and mentally weak..

Jeff George may be more, but Cutler acts like he never cares. At least George could be a fiery guy at times. Was finally great in Minnesota with Moss and Carter until Dennis Green decided to move on with a young Culpepper.

He's also an idiot for putting a target on his back immediately as a rookie when he spoke about his superiority in arm strength in comparison to Elway..

Wasn't this during the Schottenheimer's era? I remember Marty going ham during the regular season only to come up short in the post season.

but in seriousness, i don't see how it is cutlers fault when his team manages to allow 6td in the first half and is credited with 0 sacks and pass deflections in the whole game.. and tbh it's not really surprising.

Cutler just might be top 3 wasted talent. But then you gotta define talent.

Ryan Leaf is in there, but is JawalrusRussell?

Cutler has to be on a team with a stud defense. He needs to play with a lead. Trying to constantly come from behind doesn't work for him.

I believe that Dalton and Cutler are vying for the mental midget award of the year. Great team, ty QB decision making skills.

When Cutler was strip sacked in the second quarter he just nonchalantly walked off the field. His body language was terrible.

It was 2008 IIRC, so early on in the Norv era. It was during that stretch of years when Denver would always get off to a hot start in the first half of the season and then choke the division and the playoffs away in the second half of the year.

The Rivers/Cutler rivalry was pretty fun. There was one game I remember when Cutler turned toward the Chargers' sideline and grabbed his crotch like a got, so Rivers heckled him mercilessly the rest of the game.

To be fair to Dalton, I never really thought he was NFL material so I think the way he has played over his head and Jedi mind ed the Bengals is amazing
