I hope you didin't buy tickets to see Patty Mills...
I'm actually going to the game, so I'm praying that Pop doesn't sit out our main guys (Big 3 and Kawhi).
It's another back-to-back and yes they need rest but I paid good money to see my Spurs!!!
So anyone here with the inside scoop or any info/idea if Pop is tanking tomorrow's game?
Thanks!
I hope you didin't buy tickets to see Patty Mills...
Hold on I have something, Becky Hammon just texted me back. She said the Big 3 will play tommorow if today's game vs the Clippers is a blow out
I have a friend who works for the TSA that checked their IDs when they flew out of SA and overheard Pop saying, "these ing back 2 backs, Tim and Manu aren't playing them".
lemme check what TSpence is saying... brb
He's not going to sit them less than a week after sitting them against Houston IMO..
I know Pop doesn't give a about the league office, nor should he, but they'll empty his bank account(or Holt's, I suppose) if he decides to do it again so soon..
After the game he was quoted saying "the old guys will be available against GSW because they've already rested last week".
If they can find a way to win tomorrow night...
Odds that the big 3 will all play tonight: 10,000-to-1.
(My own personal hunch.)
I'm all for Matt Bonner resting.
My hunch says they will play..

2nd year in a row the Spurs play @ the Warriors on a ing back to back. So ing stupid, since it's the only chance I have to see them unless I want to drive to Sactown.![]()
Limited minutes for Duncan/Manu most likely but they'll still play I think.
Id just rest tim, limit tonys minutes
Yeah I think Duncan/Manu/possibly Parker will all be on a short leash tonight. They'll play, but if things start getting out of hand Pop will be quick to sit them and just let the bench try and fight back.
Spurs ALWAYS play the Warriors, Blazers, and the Pistons on b2b's. Talk about getting lucky
Tim and Manu are questionable for tonight's game..

Tim and Manu.
Doh. Edited it.
Not like this is groundbreaking news by any means though.
NBA.COM: Duncan & Manu questionable against GSW tonight to rest.
Blame it to that brutal B2Bs schedule people
Klay Thompson might be out too.
