Cavs have a lot of shooters. Their 3 point shooting isn't a fluke. Their issue on defense, not offense. They should grade out over time as a top 3 offense.
Irving hit some ill advised contested 3s early in the shot clock that he won't make most nights

They're going to be unstoppable on offense when Love and Irving are "on", but ya, we've already seen what they look like otherwise..

Relying on Irving isolation isn't a consistently reliable way to win..
Sure, but as Love/Irving hopefully learn not to ball-stop so much, they should be damn good consistently on offense. Let Lebron create and keep moving the ball/working to get to spots. Then, on the few times things break down, use your ability to get your own shots Kyrie/Waiters..

Pelican's are fortunate that players like Gordon/Evans are still valued in today's NBA. They have the pieces to make a trade. There will be teams in need of "talented guards" and they could easily screw someone over if they get players that fit a system.

Only issue is their coach will probably throw a fit because he loves the fit
Evans as a 6th man is fine, he's a good passer, and his antiquated style of play is fine as a 6th man(iso after iso with a pick&roll thrown in)..he can't start for an NBA team in 2014, though, his style of play doesn't fit in a shooting and passing league..

Sure, but overall, they are excellent shooters and when you have that much talent (Love/Bron/Kyrie) they are able to make difficult shots if things stall out throughout the game for stretches.

Sure, but he won't commit to being a 6th man IMO. But maybe if they had a better starter he would. Having Tyreke/Ryan should help bolster the bench. If they can flip Gordon for that 3D player that would be perfect.

I wouldn't mind seeing Anderson in the starting lineup instead of Evans. Sure he's soft but he's tall and teams have to respect his outside shot which opens up the paint even more.

At least I pointed out how shaky Tyreke Gordon and Rivers are when someone said they a playoff team

This was an ideal night for Cleveland. Getting 32/12/10 from Lebron, 32/9 from Irving, and 22 from Love is the best they can hope for. Not sure if they can consistently find that balance, though.

    Davis with another 27/14/4/4, though...

You think? They need some better guard play and have a pretty crowded wing/FC rotation at this point. I think both teams would say yes, IMO.

Tyreke Evans is one of the most overrated and overpaid players in the league.

Pelicants on the hook for 3/35 for this guy.

Every year he's been in the league he has gotten worse.

Horford and Millsap look really bad this year, Atlanta should be looking to split them up, somebody will easily give up an asset for either of them IMO..

I wonder if they can make a trade.
    Evans for Shumpert and Calderon.

Shumpert might not even be a 3 and D guy but he would get out of the way and can knock down the triple. I keep throwing these guys on trades 'cause I think Phill Jackson might be dumb/desperate enough to trade them for a "talented shot creator" that gives them a chance to make the playoffs.

P/S: Just checked Gordon's numbers. WTF?

Why would Denver trade for a guy that makes 14 per year and gets 7 ppg on 27% shooting on 33 mpg?
