yet he's still better than Ayres![]()
He's shooting 20% from 3, cant rebound, looks even slower and whiter than before.... dudes done and needs to get taken out behind the woodshed.
yet he's still better than Ayres![]()
4th best big on the team, tbh.
And daye sadly, which is why he'll continue to get minutes
Bonner, Daye, Ayres are all done.
didn't Ayres need to have started sometime in order to be done??
yup. he just knows the plays that's why he gets playing time. Knows where to go and stays out of ppls ways. imo
Spurs need to trade cojo for a legit stretch 4 that can actually hit 3s.
Still an effective regular season player EVEN if he doesnt hit threes
Too early to say.
At least wait till his match up with Ibaka
He truly, legitimately is still better than Ayres.
Re-signing Bonner while Bertans was a free agent was ing stupid. It won't cost a championship. But it's just nonsensical.
Best thing about Bonner is his white guy attributes (BBIQ and effort). He's going to be in position for a rebound and fight for it, and he's not going to make seriously bone-headed plays out there.
That said, yeah, he's on the last rung of his belt, and it's frayed and cracking.
As bad/limited/lame he has been his whole career, he has really become useless.
He did a pretty good job guarding Blake Griffin on Monday.![]()
Well, yesterday Parker was done according to ST, so.....
Once he hits 3 threes in a single game he'll be ok tbh
I have this theory on Bonner and reverse racism. If Bonner was black and didn't have red hair, nobody would be calling him soft.
Yes, he is rusty right now, but his size, knowledge of the system, and 3 point shot makes him a great bench player player for his salary.
Still better than Ayres although that's not saying much.
His shot is broken. That's the only real issue. Seems to be a problem with a lot of our players atm. Green is also real cold right now.
also better than Daye ...
Okay friends, just so everyone knows who else is available to replace Ayres, Daye, and Bonner:
1. Dante Cunningham (has no offcourt issues at all)
2. Jermaine O'Neal (knees are perfect)
3. Rashard Lewis (a sniper with A LOT to offer on the defensive end)
4. Emeka Okafor (a spring chicken)
5. Andrew Bynum (highly-motivated pivot player)
6. Ivan Johnson (lots of offense to go with good defense)
7. JEFF ADRIEN (no issues with this guy)
8. Quincy Miller (proven)
9. Aaron Gray (Pop liked him once, when he was still at Pitt)
10. Bj Mullens (legitimate stretch-4)
11. Carlos Delfino (dunno what happened to this guy, was a good shooter in HOU)
12.Bernard James (clearly a finished product)
13. Earl Clark (worth the 14th selection in his draft)
14. Damion James (clearly better than Daye)
15. Tyrus Thomas (STILL has a lot of potential)
