I agree! Davis is now my second favorite player in the league after Duncan. I think the Pelicans make the playoffs this year, and then become le contenders in 2-3 years.
Still very early because they've got to address the SG & SF positions before they can contend tbh. People thought the same about Garnett back in his Timberwolves days. You've got to have a system in place and a good coach to take you forward and i don't see Monty Williams doing that.
I assume those things will change within the next few years.
I see Harden didn't play well. Was Wiggins on him? I haven't gotten a chance to see Wiggins, yet, just curious to see how his defense has been. I think Cleveland is really going to regret trading him away.
Wiggins' athleticism bothered Harden. Dude is going to be good.
Wiggins is a good defender already. Bothered Harden's shot and got around Harden quick once for a dunk, but beard still had double digit assists. Like many have said on here, Kyrie Irving should have been traded instead. I would have tried to find a spot for Waiters too, depending on what comes back. Both are ballhogging cancers imo.
