That was it. Strock was retired and working as the club pro at a golf course outside Miami when they signed him. He came in gray, out of shape and with a bright orange South Florida tan. The Browns went through four different starting quarterbacks that year- Kosar, Mike Pagel, Gary Danielson and Strock.

To give the Oilers credit, they came back to Cleveland the next week and beat the Browns in the Wild-Card Game.

the Jets vs Patriots was surprisingly good, and Colts vs Texans was good iirc. but yeah, most of the games have been garbage for Thursday nights.
