Strangely enough... Dallas
Pelicans. They have become one of my "must-watch games/highlights" team. I really enjoy watching Anthony Davis. He has the potential to have a career equal or even better than Duncan when it's all said and done. He may even be this season's MVP if he continues to put up numbers until season end. Would be a dream come true - if the Pelicans don't make it to the playoffs until Davis' final years of his contract - he suits up a Spurs uniform and be a Spur for the rest of his career.
Warriors.
Lakers. So they don't keep their draft pick.
None really...Maybe Dallas because of Dirk...but good Western teams are hard to root for, as we might face them in the playoffs.
That said Minny, Indiana, Atlanta or Charlotte are the type of teams, I like to see win.
Warriors & Dirk.
I wish the Clippers didn't have so many gy human beings on their squad or else I'd root for them too.
Where you at, dude? I'm on the peninsula. Warriors are my 2nd team too.
Then I gotta say it's Chicago and Toronto in the East.
clippers in theory, but paul winning would bother me.. other than that, minnesota and hornets?
oh right, celtics are on the top by far, forgot about them tbh
I usually say Houston because of my family connection, but I can't really say that at the moment. Howard is hopelessly annoying and Harden would be easier to like if his game wasn't so ugly. It's irritating because he has the talent to be a great player but he chooses to play a style of ball that is borderline unwatchable.
That said...Dallas. They've grown on me throughout the Carlisle era and Dirk is one of my favorite non-Spurs players of all time.
Hawks...coach Bud connection. He has them playing good ball...and I'd like to the see the team be successful despite all their ty fans who could care less if they exist.
Pelicans...I'm a dominant big man fanboi...and Davis will be a hall of famer if he stays healthy.
I don't really like anything about the Celtics but since Lakerfan hates nothing more for them to ring I always root for the to comeback and be relevant. Like Atlanta, would like to see Bud succeed. Suns are a fun team to root for, mainly because they've mostly been our during the Duncan era. And Houston and Cleveland only because it would kill Lakerfan if Dwert or LBJ rings.
Pelicans, because I like Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday, and New Orleans is a great city. Anthony is the type of player I generally root for, much more similar in at ude to Duncan and Hakeem as opposed to a Kevin Garnett. Also, the name change to Pelicans kind of makes me laugh. It's not exactly a badass, macho name so I think it's funny.
Atlanta for Coach Bud...I'd love to see them make the Finals and lose to the Spurs.
The West has a lot of teams doing well... it would be more interesting if some Eastern Conference teams did well. I would like to see the Bulls continue to do well.
But Anthony Davis and Steph Curry are my 2 favorite non-spur players in the league, so I'd like to see their clubs do well, but not too well
Same for me. Them 2 and the Big German tbh.
Nobody. I hate every other team.
Hornets, great potential in an up & coming city
i actually live in Central Texas. i was born north of San Fran so I've rooted for Niners as long as I remember. it's also why I support Giants and Warriors as well.
I like underdog teams that outperform expectations. I like the Bulls because they play defense, they are tough, they get up and down and court and they traded Boozer for MVPau. I like Miami, now, because they have something to prove. I like the Mavs outside of that got Mark Cuban who's a snake oil salesman. I like GS now that Kerr is coaching. I like Toronto, they get no respect but they are playing really well. Don't like the Knicks, Nuggets, Celtics, Magic, Wolves, Bucks, 76ers, Hawks. Like the Jazz a bit.
Rightfully so, you've been destroyed by all of them.
