What next bro...Tech > Arizona State until they beat them ?

edit: remove Archie Manning. One less SEC member tbh....
What next bro...Tech > Arizona State until they beat them ?
Say the following sentences out loud:
Alabama plays a weak schedule....
Auburn plays a weak schedule....
Ole Miss plays a weak schedule...
MSU plays a weak schedule...
LSU plays a weak schedule....
If the first thing that goes through your brain is WTF did I just say....then you are competent. And thus are allowed to talk college football.
If the first thing that goes through your brain is Yeah...that sounds about right. Then you are not well and should immediately seek medical care.
Thank God we can have a war criminal, torture advocate, and National Security Adviser who handed the "Bin Laden Determined to Strike in US" memo to the President and took it oh-so-seriously on the CFB playoff committee.
Relevance!
How convenient is that though? We go strictly by the ranking unless its Bama-Oklahoma.
For this comparison lets ignore the fact that Bama is currently #1, Oklahoma out of the Top 20 and instead focus on last season's BCS game! So much for consistency, bro.
Miss St. >>>>>>> Rice
How about Tech > Arizona State? UT > TCU ? UCF > Baylor?
lol Big 12 homer crying SEC conspiracy
So you'd rather see a playoff with FSU, Bama, Miss St, and Georgia?
And obviously you missed the point that Okie returned 23 starters from the team that beat Bama, same can't be said for any of those other teams.
Nice addition to your post.
And yes, I'm a Big 12 homer to a degree, but more of a "fairness" homer. Obviously the ACC and Big 10 suck, so their champs shouldn't be considered for the playoffs unless they're undefeated. I'm hoping FSU loses so we can see Pac-12, Big-12, and two SEC teams in the final four. But if FSU wins out you have to put them in, and that should be at the expense of an SEC team which will have 2 losses vs. a Pac-12/Big-12 team with 1 loss. It's just that simple. Not even sure why that's controversial.
Not that that makes a difference, but where are you getting 23 from?

It's actually 20 starters returning, the rest of the starters are non-freshmen with the exception of Smallwood, the only Frosh:

I hope S&B can forgive me for my honest mistake

Honestly for some reason Oregon is a consensus Top 4 team but I don't trust them. I think they'll find a way to choke down the stretch per usual and I think TCU would beat them on a neutral field. I don't get the fascination with them. That doesn't seem like a popular opinion though.
I have no idea what the actual number is, but if I had to base it on a source, I'd go with Phil Steele over anyone else in a landslide. That guy's entire life is college football tbh.
edit: that site has 16, unless you are including kicker, punter, deep snapper, returners etc im not seeing 20![]()

I don't either, and if a Pac-12 champ has 2 losses vs. a 1-loss SEC team who doesn't finish first (say Miss St wins out, Bama beats Georgia in the SEC le) I give it to the 1-loss SEC team. But you can't pick a non-champ SEC team over a Big-12/Pac-12 champ with the same number of losses. And that's exactly how this week's ratings are currently set (no Big 12 team with 1-loss in the final 4). That's my beef, and I'm sticking to it.
Yes....I'd rather see that.
I don't like Arena Football games like TCU vs. Baylor.
LOL 61-58

LOL 61-58but you only want the SEC to win so your school gets more foodstamps

the country needs more 14-13, 17-10, 17-0 Arkansas games

Better than 59-0 between two SEC West "powerhouses"
Well at least one side knew how to play defense....unlike Baylor and TCU.
D Fence....
Still waiting for the Miss St. quality win list... is A&M on it?
^
This Baylor fan brought a “D-Fence” sign to the Alamo Bowl. More than one hundred points later, he was still holding this sign proud, hoping for a stop from his Bears. In the end he got it sorta kinda.
Here were some of the highlights.
123 Points
1, 397 Yards
159 Plays
17 Touchdowns
Yep...they're on it.
Meanwhile, despite giving up 58 to nations 4th ranked offense, Baylor is 19th in points against and 14th in YPG in the nation.
